Archstone Skilled Nursing Facility
Archstone is a skilled nursing facility that provides both short term rehabilitation and also long term care. Our availability varies on both the rehab and long term care units. At this moment, I do have spots available in both areas, but that does change on a daily basis. I have attached a price sheet for your review. Please note in the long term care, I do not have any private rooms available, we do have semi-private rooms. That would be shared with one other person of the same sex.
Our Team
In our nursing department, we employ RN, LPN and CNAs. In addition, we have licensed physical, occupational and speech therapists. We do have a social worker and a discharge coordinator who assist patients making arrangements to transition back into the community.
Respite Stays and Pet Policy
We do offer short term respite stays depending on availability. I usually ask folks to give me at least a 2 week notice for a respite stay. That enables us to secure room availability. Pets are allowed to visit, but not live here.

If there were no other places available, I still wouldn't allow my relatives to be taken to this facility. I tried contacting someone to find out procedures and what was needed because I was ill and could not come in person. I was referred to the website and my questions went unanswered. When I was able to visit in person, there was no one at the front desk. We were allowed in but no one explained the visitation procedures. So much for security as no one asked why we wanted in. The response time to a call button was usually in the 2-4 hour range causing mother to have accidents. She was fed mostly carbs, very little protein, no fruit, hardly any vegetables, and never any salad. As a result, her condition deteriorated yet the staff insisted she was in the same condition aa when she arrived. I argued and spoke to the charge nurse who agreed with me. She was so severe she needed to be hospitalized and given IV potassium. Additionally, her weeks worth of clothing went missing within about 4 days. Twice, I had to go through the laundry to find most of her things. I'm glad I was able to have her transferred to a more caring, better staffed facility.
