When my husband moved to Arbor Terrace it was lovely. A brand new facility with a seemingly caring and skilled staff. As the months went by staff changes were a regular event, and almost never for the better. On several occasions I arrived to find no one over-seeing the residents of the Memory Unit and once I had to separate two residents who were fighting over a sweater. We finally ended up with an intervention from the county's Adult Protection Agency (who were terrific!). Calls were not returned; his room was not even really clean; but the worst was that almost no one seemed to care, either about my husband or his needs.
