3.04 out of 5 stars. Based on 81 reviewsEmployees of Angels Senior Living have mixed reviews. The pros include job security, great management, career opportunities, easy commute to work, wonderful staff, opportunity for advancement, incredible corporate support, open communication, systems in place to help you succeed, family owned and operated, flexible scheduling, good residents, great experience, and amazing management staff. The cons include no paid vacation, management lacking care for staff, move in inappropriate residents, benefits suck, limited to West Coast of Florida, short staffed, high turn over, low wages, not a lot of chances for raises or bonuses, unprofessional management, favoritism to family and friends, always over worked and underappreciated, bugs everywhere, rude staff, hostile work environment, lack of effective leadership, high rate of turnover, no appreciation for employees, no overtime or additional money given for coming in after normal business hours or on holidays, no breaks, and no benefits or lots of opportunities for pay raise and bonuses. Advice to management includes communication is key and to be honest, take pride in your staff, stop showing so much favoritism to family and friends, spread to the East Coast, learn how to manage employees instead of abusing them and burning them out, and take the time to solve the important underlying issues of the company and listen to the voices of your employees.

My mother has excellent loving care at this facility. She always looks clean and is well fed and has been treated with respect and kindness. The staff there has always been very kind to us her family. They have lots of patience with my mom bc the disease she has is so devasting to our entire family we have had to depend on them to give my mom the care she deserves in the end of her life. During Covid they did everything to keep the residence safe. I feel very blessed to have found this place for mom. Thanks everyone for all you have done for her and for me and Andrew.
Although the director and the assistant appear caring, they are not. They want to fill the rooms. My loved one died during the pandemic, I was not told he was not eating. I know their are caring homes but this is not one. You can do better for your family. Even before the lockdown they let him lay in the bed and do nothing. The only time he got out of bed when I was there. There are better places if you just look.
This is a true community, not a “facility “A team of compassionate and caring caregivers with a professional and experienced management staff. A resident’s family member expressed to me that “she could feel the loving environment’ when she visited. What more could you say—I love working here! It is a very special family.
A home-like (secured) assisted living facility that cares for & assists those with cognitive decline. The Resident Care Aides are compassionate and patient with the residents. They realize that we work in 'their' home; they are not living in our workplace. The food prepared is always delicious. The dietary staff is amazing. There are engaging activities daily with memory recall, games, music, Bingo! & one-on-one room visits. Our driven Wellness Coordinator works with the healthcare professionals (drs, nurses, and home health) to keep our residents thriving in their home.
I believe the smiling ladies who Paul referred to in his review still live there! I not only get the warmest smile, I get a hug and a kiss too when welcomed in the front door by the ladies that live there! I truly enjoy each and every time I visit my sister facility. Great staff and happy residents! Ask for Christine or Dragana, these ladies are perfect for working with memory impaired residents if you need a home for your loved one to thrive!
The cleanliness from the parking lot to the entrance was pristine. I was greeted with a professional Director and some smiling Young women two of which were in walkers. They were smiling and very friendly. My parents made me promise not to put them into any sort of assisted living or nursing home when it came " THAT TIME" for them so I didn't. Angels has the best of everything. Even the SMELL of a facility is overpowering as you walk through BUT NOT HERE. Angels IS 5 STAR in my opinion. From the Director to the staff and all the CMA's, LPN's, COOKS. YOU SHOULD PAT YOURSELVES ON THE BACK !!!!! YOUR STANDARDS SHOULD BE MODELED BY ALL OTHER FACILITIES.MY COMPLIMENTS!!!YOU ALL SHOULD BE VERY, VERY PROUD OF YOURSELVES.KEEP IT UP.THOSE RESIDENTS DESERVE YOU.
