Both of my parents have been at Accolade on Pells. It is very clean and the all of the staff are friendly and caring with them. They have activities for everyone and they are very caring. They decorate for the different holidays and have contests for client's doors. It helps get all involved. We are very pleased!!
My 90 yr old Mother has been treated with kindness and care from all employees in all positions. It’s been a blessing getting her in there, with the assistance and patience from the Admissions Director. We are fortunate she is close by and we can see her often! Thank you all at Accolade for what you do, and for Making A Difference!!
Words cannot begin to express my disappointment in this facility. There is no way for a family member to advocate in the care of their loved ones with the extremely limited visitation they are allowing at this time. Any facility that has planned visitation will be on their best behavior while you are their. Their very limited visitation hours are now making it impossible to see my family member. They are not helpful when I contact my loved one by phone. They hand him the phone and expect him to fend for himself. He is handicapped and does not get the assistance he needs to have any verbal contact that I could potentially have with him. Feel frustrated with every corner I turn with facility.
Accolade Helathcare of Paxton on Pells has proven to be a top-notch facility! I have a very young family member who is a resident at this location. The facility is clean, bright, and very welcoming. The covid precautions that they have in place allow for scheduled visits, including window and outside interactions. The care she is receiving is everything we could want for her! The staff is positive, helpful , and so friendly. They facilitate daily facetime calls with our family when schedules do not allow for an in-person visit, or if visits are limited due to covid precautions. Although we would love to have her home, we have the utmost trust and confidence in the entire staff knowing that she is comfortable, content, and receiving the best care! We cannot thank everyone enough for all that you do to make the best of a difficult situation.
I honestly do not even know where to start, Jonas, Alexis, Jody, Alice, Michelle, Janie, Julie, Kay, Zach, candy, Doug, Kalyn, The list goes on these are phenomenal heroes. The facility is beautiful, clean, bright, all in all a lovely place. It’s the staff for me, caring, professional, I just cannot say enough about this group of people. I am honestly sorry that I cannot remember everyone’s name or do not know the names of the people behind the scenes that make this run so smoothly and give me peace leaving my daughter here. Thank you with every bit of my heart for being a professional, loving, caring group of heroes. Housekeeping, activities, administrators, CNA‘s, dietary, thank you
I can not express in words how they managed my dads care -my father was there for 8 days and was one of the worst 8 days of our lives. The outcome of that stay will always be in my mind /heart /every moment of every day!!!! If I could have reviewed with negative stars I would have!!!!!
Accolade in my opinion does an excellent job caring for and assisting my Father. They came to our aid during the Covid experience and have been impressive ever since. The person I come into contact most, Jodi, is wonderful. When we have a concern or request she tends to the issue promptly and pleasantly. Communication from Accolade is both professional and timely. The approach Accolade has toward it's residents gives my mother and I comfort, knowing that my Father is well cared for and cared about. Accolade Health Care is exceptional.
I would like to express how thankful I am for Accolade Healthcare Paxton on Pells. The Administrative Staff, Nurses, CNA’s, Facilities, Dietary, House Keeping, Transportation, Therapy, Social Services, and Activities is a wonderful family that embraces residents and their loved ones. I feel blessed to know that my family member is in loving care of those taking care of her. They are all encouraging, kind, and easy to talk to. I would encourage others to take a tour and take the time to talk with them to consider your loved one to become a resident there.
My mother is on the phone with me as I am typing this review and she is in a lot of pain. She has kidney issues and she turned on her call light. A CNA entered the room and left telling her that she would have the nurse come in. It has been 26 minutes and no one has come back to her room. I am tempted to call her an ambulance myself! This is not the first time they've have ignored her calls as well as others. She has expressed this type of behavior specifically on the 3rd shift. Please do not let the 5 stars coming from employees of Accolades cloud the truth of how the staff treats their patients.
I have worked in this building for over a decade and since Accolade gained ownership I have not been happier. In the midst of a pandemic it is great to be part of a company and team that has never waivered in their ability to give the optimum care to our residents. I am proud of the work my coworkers and I do and know our resident's families are as well. Kudos to everyone under the Accolade umbrella! Keep up the great work!!!
Accolade on Pells is a great place to work. We have very caring staff and a great management team. No matter what we have been facing the last year with covid we always pull together as a team and get the job done all the while making sure are residents are happy and cared for. I love working for this company as the owners go above and beyond for their employees❤
My mother has been at Accolade on several occasions. My aunt lives at Accolade on Pells. My family has always been more than pleased with my mother’s care during her stays there. Her meals were always served hot and delicious. The building is always clean. The staff friendly and helpful. She loved the activities staff. They always made her feel welcomed. She passed away recently. We decided to have the memorials in her name left to Accolade on Pells activities fund. All my moms stays were before Covid. My aunt has been there from the start of Covid. She had shared with me that the staff has made a difficult time easier. Just by doing the same care as always and then pushing harder to add balance to her life. We are so thankful for all the staff. To be there for her when Covid has kept in person visits impossible.
Thanks for implementing the Skype method for communicating with our loved ones during the corona crisis! Just had my first Skype visit with my Mom. It was awesome from both ends of the conversation. I can tell that all the staff truly cares about the residents. According to my Mom, the feeling is mutual. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Prayers for everyone’s safety during these tough times!
What a nice time we had today for moms 90th birthday. They came from Morris, Mt Vernon, south of Danville, Melvin, Fisher, Gibson City, Forrest and Tennessee. And several friends and staff at the nursing home helped mom celebrate. Special thanks to Denise (a resident) for helping me set up.
