Our center is a comprehensive skilled nursing facility that specializes in memory/dementia care. We are a locked facility, but also provide 24-hour supervision to ensure the safety of our residents. In addition, we offer a wide variety of activities and services specifically tailored to the individual needs of our residents. For example, physical, occupational and speech therapy are available, as well as restorative programming and pharmacogenetics, which tests DNA to measure the probable effectiveness of specific medications.
In addition, Yorktown Manor offers activities that enhance daily living, such as quiet rooms, gardening, personal story-telling, social events, and worship services. We also work with our residents to create a comfortable, stimulating, and safe home environment.
