Wyoming Pioneer Home Description

Wyoming Pioneer Home is a licensed assisted living facility in Thermopolis, owned and operated by the Wyoming Department of Health. WPH was born from state legislation in 1949 and is part of the department’s Aging Division.

Skilled Nursing
The nursing staff at the Wyoming Pioneer Home helps residents coordinate their prescription medication needs and keeps track of all prescriptions. Residents also receive a monthly check-up for weight and blood pressure to help ensure their health. Local residents are free to choose any physician they wish to use. The nursing staff is available to help with all medical and dental appointments, including providing transportation. We want to make sure you have everything you need to get the care you deserve!

    Wyoming Pioneer Home offers its residents a number of amenities for their convenience and safety. It has an emergency call system and 24 hour staffing and emergency response. Residents can take advantage of the 24-hour library which provides large print books, videos, DVD's, music, and computers. In addition, WPH also provides in-town transportation through the local senior center for a nominal donation. For those who own a vehicle, there is a parking lot available.

    Wyoming Pioneer Home is a facility that provides comprehensive care for elderly residents, including nursing, personal support, dietary services, housekeeping and maintenance, recreation activities, and religious services. The staff is committed to providing quality care to ensure a comfortable living environment for the residents.     Had a few friends staying there very nice remolded rooms Dinning room is great never heard anything bad about the food. The patients can walk Tru the hot springs park. Which is where the pioneer home is located a great choice for any one to stay there. I see a lot of old folks walking around with their walkers Park that are living at pioneer home state run very clean.
