However, they have some concerns about upper management, who they feel only care about the census, and the lack of competitive pay. They also feel that the company is understaffed and that the residents are not always looked after properly. Employees also note that there is a lot of back-biting and back-stabbing, and that the company is very focused on money and not on the residents or employees. They suggest that management should be more open to other’s thoughts and ideas, pay a living wage, and treat employees with respect.

I used to work here several years ago.The care staff is very professional and personable. The dining experience is very elegant and diverse in its choice of entrees. Administration is very helpful and prompt in all affairs. Housekeeping is very thorough. And the activities are always different, fun, and creative.Being employed here was rewarding in all aspects: caring for the residents and building an authentic care-centered relationship with residents, all departments were team-oriented, and employees really cared about their work at Aspen Wind. What made it more special is the leadership. From department heads to all the way to the district manager of Edgewood, showed their staff how much they were appreciated. loads of up-lifting acts of gratitude was given on a daily basis!
