Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We do have a small waitlist currently but it changes daily.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Our assisted living has 24/7 nursing. LPN’s and CNA’s as well as a RN. They undergo a week of training on the floor as well as orientation and computer classes.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
In our independent living residents are given a life alert button. We conduct two daily checks if we have not seen the residents at 10:00am and 6:00pm.
In our assisted living all residents are given a life alert button. Our resident care staff also complete checks depending on the resident’s personalized service plan.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We do a new resident orientation and also assign the new resident an ambassador to help with the transition.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
We offer transportation to all residents Monday – Friday. All we ask for is a 24 hour notice if possible.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Our dining experience is restaurant style dining. We have a host and servers. We offer soup, salad and a roll to start. We have two entrée options, a starch and two vegetables. We also have an ‘always available’ menu so if you do not like the two entrees you can order off the alternate menu. I would be happy to send you a weekly menu.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
All grievances are directed towards myself. I keep a log. I also address the issue in a timely manner. My priority is always the residents and their happiness.
What is the cost of living in your community?
Our independent living starts at $2,600. Our assisted living starts at $3,110.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We ask resident families how they would like to be contacted. It varies between a phone call and email.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
Yes, we do offer short term respite stays. It is a required 30 day stay and is a full months rent.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes, as long as the resident can take care of their pet.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes, we offer annual flu clinics and covid clinics.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes, we are a campus. We have independent living and assisted living in our building. Next door is Life Care and they offer long term care if the need arises. We do have a small waitlist currently but it changes daily.
