REGARDING SUBACUTE CARE

About the Entrance Fee

The Entrance Fee is a one-time payment that is used to subsidize the capital cost of maintaining the operational and maintenance upkeep of Wiley Christian Retirement Community.

Is the Entrance Fee Refundable?

Yes. In the event of the resident leaving Residential Healthcare or Long Term Care, the fee will be refunded less a charge of 2% of the principal per month of residence. In the event of resident death, there is no refund of the entrance fee.

Are There Options to Pay the Entrance Fee?

Yes. A resident may use their assets to create a Trust Fund with Wiley. Costs of care are deducted monthly from the trust while the principal gains in interest quarterly. In the event of resident death, the balance remains with Wiley. Also, family members or others parties may guarantee a fee through payment or a trust.

Independent Living Village Availability

Presently, we have some Villa homes available in our independent living Village. The wait time for the other home models could be two years or more.

Assisted Living Level

For our assisted living level, Wiley has a Residential Healthcare license. There are about 40 rooms, which are a bedroom with a bathroom. These residents are fairly independent, come to the Dining Room for their meals, and have their laundry and housekeeping done for them weekly. At this time, we have some Aldersgate and Hackett rooms available.

Health Care Center

If a person needs more assistance with mobility, incontinence or memory issues, they would be more appropriate for care in our Health Care Center. The cost for our Health Care Center is $493.36 a day. If someone has private pay, we have occasional openings. If someone needs Medicaid, the wait time could be more than two years. Completing an application would put a person’s name on our Waiting List.
