Waitlist Availability
We do offer a wait list at no charge but presently we have a few openings, so the waiting list is not being used. This allows family members on our waiting list to have first notice of vacancies before they are offered to new inquiries.
Staff and Training
We have management staff consisting of Executive Director/Director of Nursing RN (this is a combo role at our community), Dining Manager, Resident Programs Manager, Business Office Manager, Maintenance Manager and Marketing Director. Support Staff consists of dietary aides, housekeeping, CNA/Caregivers, Maintenance Assistant, Sales Associate, Programs Assistant, LPNs. All have required annual Dementia training, and we choose to supplement annual training with additional resources such as Dementia Live.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We are a secured community with alarms in place for entry and exit.
Transition Support Services
We take a questionnaire from family at admission to assist us with personality traits and preferences to assist us in helping the resident to acclimate. We also do hourly checks for the first 48 hours.

Our Dining Manager is a trained chef and all meals are made from scratch in our kitchen which is onsite. We offer restaurant style dining and offer dietary accommodations as needed. Three meals/daily plus snacks are included.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Debbie (our DON and ED) is the point person for families. Residents are supported through nursing, caregiver support and programming.
Cost of Living
One time Community Fee = $3000 (Permanent Move-ins)
Semi-private (Shared) Studio Apartment = $5000/month (all-inclusive of care)
Companion Apartment = $6675/month (all-inclusive of care)
Private Studio = $7800/month (all-inclusive of care)
Respite Stay = $300/day, minimum 14 day stay
Communication with Resident's Families
We use a program called CareMerge for general community updates and programming, Nursing has a cell phone and Debbie is available by cell.

White Oaks at McHenry
White Oaks at McHenry is a memory care community serving older adults. Our program provides opportunities to maintain a sense of purpose and belonging throughout the different stages of dementia. We focus on abilities rather than limitations because we understand that as we age, our heart’s hopes and desires do not. We are continuously seeking innovation through a variety of philosophies to sustain the aspects of life that really matter.
Our Commitment to Care
All staff receive 16 hours of Alzheimer’s and Dementia training annually and two hours of education monthly on related Alzheimer’s and Dementia topics.

- Licensed nurse on duty 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
- Quarterly service plan meeting with family and involved staff.
- Primary nursing assessments providing consistent care.
- ALL staff involved in the care, service, and comfort of each individual.
