Horrible place to live out ones last days. My loved one lives there and has been for over 2 years. Bad food, unfriendly staff that are non communicative & unhappy. There's been a lot of items missing from the residents room. Fast turnover of staff. Room badly infested for 2 weeks with carpenter ants . Staff said they were "not aware of this issue "!  You could literally see them if you were blind. I feel bad for all those residents there.  You don't notice things aren't right until you either live there as a resident or go there visiting. Shame on that place.

The latest is cockroaches in the kitchen of my loved one. They have been seen in the hallways and the dining room. The food is terrible there are times when all the people at a table will return their meals to the kitchen. Instead of serving one or 2 decent meals now they have 4 bad choices on the menu. One of the maids steals while cleaning the rooms.I have heard that Cherry Hill has better meals but it is a more expensive facility.

I have been working at Waltonwood since 2007 and I have I really loved working with our residents, families and staff. It feels like my second home with the extra bonus of gaining several new grandparents that I never had growing up. The residents all bring me such love and joy!!! To see the smiles on their faces and to hear their stories just warms my heart every day!!! The staff here a Carriage Park works very hard to uphold our "Family" motto of respecting and taking care of our residents as though they were our very own family members!!!

I'm a Formal Employee, and I have been harassed on the job. I injured myself on the job, and got placed on Restriction and somehow its my fault. I've asked if I could have a form to file out for harassment, I was denied it and everything I was saying was being turned around on me. There was Employees that was rude and disrespectful, I asked if the individual was going to investigate again it get turned around me. I am on here because I don't want this to happen to No one else . Overall it was a greater opportunity to work here I've met so many great people far as residents and their friends and family membersAs well as some great employees, That doesn't get much recognition like they should, such as Laura she is like the flash and residents loves her. Vivian me and her bump heads we didn't always seen eye to eye but that didn't take away from the fact she is a good care giver. Derenda is awesome med tec and so down to earth. Angie the Director she's amazing and a great dresser. I hope what happened to Me doesn't happen to anyone else.

My mom Rose is a resident at Waltonwood Carriage Park and I would like to thank all of the staff for taking such good care of my mom. Nicole and Sara are the greatest. They are always looking after my mom to make sure she is comfortable. When ever shes needs someone to talk to they are there for her. She always smiles when they come to visit her. During these times dealing with Covid it is very nice to know when we as children can not see her every day that there are people like Nicole and Sara taking care of my mom. Thank you so much!

My grandma has been at Carriage Park since December 2019. Life enrichment directors, Sarah and Nicole, have gone out of their way to help my grandma feel welcomed and loved at her new home. With limited to no visiting hours during COVID, they made time to organize zoom calls and window visits. This was very special to me as I was still able to see my grandma and make memories during this time. Thank you Sarah and Nichole!

I can’t say enough of this Place! My mom has been there over two years and the care she’s been getting is exemplary! She has been to other places but I feel that this is the best place. The director and concierge always go out of their way for me. The caregivers are more than just caregivers -they show loving concern for my mom who is in hospice. The activity directors always try to keep mom involved and you can see they also love the residents . There is always some type of activity they can do with others. From the cleaning ladies to the maintenance staff, the cafeteria servers , caring nursing staff, chef , bus drivers and anyone else I failed to mention- To me this is a little place of heaven on earth for my mom. I can’t thank Dustin and his staff enough. During this pandemic I have felt mom has been in the best place possible. God bless you Carriage Park! ❤️

Waltonwood staff are very committed to maintaining the health and well being of the residents. The staff have various opportunutues to do crafts, exercises and social events.(as Covid allows) Nichole and Sarah are very positive, energized and fun. They emit this positivity and energy to the residents. Before Covid, I would visit and often engage in the activity and enjoyed it very much. Thank you for caring for our loved ones.

Placing mom in assisted living was hard as hell! Finding Waltonwood Carriage Park! Priceless.Mom was always a very social person so I worried she would be bored and lonely. No such thing. The Life Enrichment Program has kept mom engaged and active even in covid times! Nichole and Sarah are fun and encouraging ! They get to know the residents and what they like and are good at! My fav thing was watching mom bowling on Sunday’s. Can’t wait for covid to be over so I can watch her again. Even during covid times they are always getting mom out of her room and making fun things ! It makes my heart soar knowing mom is in their care!

Carriage Park is a really pretty residence in the Canton, Michigan area with a top notch staff. So happy my mom lives in such a nice place and with such a great community of people. They are always taking part in fun activities and going on trips to cool places in the vicinity. Erin and the team over there go the extra mile in making things special for everyone. Really couldn’t be happier with Mom’s decision to move in there, it’s been a game changer.

My mom has been at Carriage Park since December 2019. With COVID hitting soon after, my family was worried for her. We have been so reassured and comforted by the care and support our mom has gotten. Sarah and Nichole have gone above and beyond their normal expectations of life enrichment directors to make sure our mom feels loved and connected in a time it is easy to feel isolated. They have organized activities, weekly Zoom calls to connect her with loved ones, window visits to still get the "in person" time, and made sure to check in on her when they could. I feel comforted to know they are with my mom when I cannot be.

When we started noticing mom having difficulties with everyday living we knew she needed help. She was diagnosed with mixed dementia and Alzheimer’s. She wanted to move to Waltonwood Carriage Park because it was across the street from her current condo and she figured her friends could visit her. From the first moment we walked in for a tour until today 2 years later I cannot say enough good things about Waltonwood Carriage Park. Mom was always a very social person and the Life Enrichment Program at Waltonwood is able to keep mom active and engaged. Even through covid lockdown they have always made sure to keep all the residents active and involved. The entire staff treats mom like family and they are like my family. Nicole and Sarah in Life Enrichment are so in tune with everyone’s needs and abilities ! I highly recommend Waltonwood Carriage Park.

Just a shout out to Nichole and Sarah in the Life Enrichment Program at WWCP. These ladies do a great job setting up facetime/zoom appointments to visit with your loved ones (and window visits when that was allowed). Its meant so much to be able to see my mom during these troubling times when we weren't allowed to visit in person.. They go above and beyond to work around your schedule and I am very appreciative of them! Thank You so much Nichole and Sarah!

My mom moved in yesterday finally due to the pandemic and it couldn't have gone better! Annette has been so supportive through this whole ordeal doing whatever she could to make the transition go as smooth as possible. Nathan was terrific at setting up her cable and supervising the actual move. Dustin was so nice to stop by and check on us and see if we needed anything. I feel confident that this move was the right thing for my mom and her safety. I look forward to being involved in activities at Carriage Park eventually.

Finding the right-fit community for one’s parents can be extremely emotional. Annette took me on a wonderful virtual tour of this community, where I met some of the friendly, caring staff. I felt right at home and knew they would take care of my dad in A/L and ensure that my mom had transportation to visit once given the “green light!” I also met Dustin, ED, over the phone and discovered a caring spirit; it all starts at the top! I recommend you call and schedule a tour throughout this caring community!

Mom is safe here in independent living and the staff is great. Her renovated apartment is beautiful. Mom loves the activities that Erin plans for them. We made the right choice. Updating my review, I had my first visit in Mom's apartment in almost a year. I was so relieved to see that Mom looked good and was doing well. I believe that was due to things like the daily newsletter that kept her brain stimulated, the activities and crafts that kept her moving and her pinochle group. Thank you for taking such good care of her during the COVID crises. The Life Enrichment Team Rocks!

My mother has been at Waltonwood assisted living for roughly 4 months and has been robbed twice by someone on the staff! Two checks stolen and tried to be cashed. Aides coming into her room at 4 in the morning to “make sure she’s ok”. Written to the same person. Totally unbelievable!!!!! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!!!!
