Wonderful environment! Clean well maintained. Friendly staff. Walking in for a tour, I felt the happiest energy. I have toured many places, for my father-in-law and this by far is superior. Outdoor living area includes raised gardens. I would recommend touring this facility. All of the staff knew each client by name and greeted each one. This did not happen anywhere else! Clients were happy and so were the staff.
Vaca Valley Living has been a wonderful place for my Mother. The administration is professional, kind and helpful. The caregivers are well trained and are very thoughtful. Activities! There is always something going on everyday, weekends and holidays. The way they include all the residents, regardless of their abilities is amazing. The nurse is pro-active and addresses any changes with your loved ones immediately. You are kept informed daily. This is peace of mind for me. Thank you VVL!
I spent a great deal of time inspecting facilities last year before I moved my Mom to any facility. I was looking for a place that I would live in, one that was clean, odorless and well staffed. Vaca Valley Living is all of that and more. The food is home made and well received. They have the most caring staff that you could ask for. As with any place, there will be issues because every resident is different. Jamie does an outstanding job resolving anything that comes up. I would not hesitate to recommend this place.
Moms been living at Vaca Valley Living for over a year now, she is extremely happy, the Staff is fantastic, Jamie and Jennifer keep the place running smoothly and do a great job caring for all the residents. Amanda is awesome as the Activity Director, she keeps the residents engaged with games and activities! Highly Recommend Vaca Valley Living!
We moved my Father into Vaca Valley Living (VVL) very close to opening day.It took all of us some time to work out the the details of how things work. Especially, for me and my family as my Dad was coming from Assisted Living to a Memory Care Facility. The difference is one place is open and one is closed. With my Father beginning to wonder, it was time to move him to a closed facility. This transition is not easy on anyone especially the family. But, the staff at VVL helped all of us through it.VVL has been a heaven sent. The facility is very clean. They serve tasty food. The laundry and showering schedules are always timely and done well. Medication is always given on time and the activities are great.Amanda the Activities Director is always looking to plan new events, games, and outings for the residents. Plus, she is a bright light each day for the residents with her smile and caring way. It is not easy to find new activities for senior citizens. But, Amanda is amazing. She finds ways to make sure everyone feels included. The entire medical team, Medical Director Megan and Asst. Katie, with Techs: Nelson, Louise, Jennifer (and others) are on top of all the paperwork, refills, giving medication on a timely basis, everyday. They contact me to see if I would prefer to pick up a medication or let me know they will do it for me. Oh my goodness, this service is GREAT! My Dad never misses a dose of any medication because they stay on top of all of this and I don't have to anymore. And the Caregivers, what can I say about the people that spend the most time with all the residents. They are calm, polite, caring, and understanding. Maggie, Brittany, Sam and others, Thank you!!!!!! I have to say, overall, the staff is what makes Vaca Valley Living so special. When I ask for something or need something for my Dad, the staff is ALWAYS willing to help me and my family. I can text or call anytime of day or night and there is a polite person there to help.Jamie (VVL Administrator) Thank you and your staff for taking such good care of my Dad. It gives my entire family peace of mind to know he is in such good hands.THANK YOU!!!
