At The Villas Affordable Senior Living Community, your family and friends are welcome at your discretion. Each apartment has deadbolt locks, smoke detectors and fire-resistant construction. Also, there is a lighted parking area for your convenience.
The Villas provides apartments for persons age 62 years or older; accessible apartments available. As a resident of The Villas, you will pay only 30% of your adjusted monthly income for rent.
Rome was founded in 1834 and, like its Italian counterpart, is built upon seven hills. This is where the Etowah and Oostanaula Rivers converge into one, The Coosa. Rome was a prominent rail and trade point during the Civil War. The Noble Foundry, founded in 1850, produced cannons for the Confederacy. The foundry was destroyed in 1864 during Sherman’s March, but the great cannon lathe still stands today atop Civic Center Hill.
