Overview of Professional Staff and Training
For assisted living, we have an LVN at community 7 days a week with 24/7 certified nursing assistants and medication aid service.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We are a Type B assisted living with on-demand 24-hour care. Each resident has their own individual care plan based upon an assessment by our nurse. There is an emergency call system in place in each apartment with 24-hour care staff.
Transition Support Services
Yes, we offer resources and support services to aid residents' transition into the community.
Transportation Services
Yes – transportation services for residents are available Monday through Friday.
Dining Experience
Dining is restaurant style in our dining room with a main menu and an always available menu. We have a chef who oversees the menu selections and any special diet needs. In assisted living, all 3 meals are provided. Meals may be delivered to residents’ apartments for a fee.
Resident Complaints and Issues
Residents can take their complaints or issues directly to our Executive Director or to the director in charge of the area of complaint. They can also notify the home office.
Cost of Living
Assisted living starts at $4000 a month plus the level of care to be determined by a nurse’s evaluation for care. Levels of care range from $300 to $2700 a month.
Communication with Residents' Families
The Viera is open 24/7 and there is a concierge available to answer phone calls 24/7. We stay in contact with families and will notify them promptly regarding issues or changes in condition. We keep emergency information on each resident and will keep the primary emergency contacts informed as needed by phone.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Yes, we offer short-term or respite stays if we can provide it at the time due to occupancy. The cost depends upon care needed, but generally will start at assisted living pricing.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, we are a pet-friendly community.

Welcome to The Viera
The Viera opened its doors in the Fall of 2018 and offers a comfortable lifestyle for seniors in all stages of life, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Based on your inquiry, I have attached our online brochure, our Disclosure Statement for licensed care in assisted living, November’s calendar of events, and a sample menu from our kitchen. Costs for assisted living include the base price for the apartment plus the level of care needed as determined by our nurse. These tasks include medication management, transfers, assistance with bathing/dressing, getting to meals/activities, etc. Please give me a call to go over pricing and how levels of care work.
Assisted Living Amenities
Residents in assisted living receive 3 chef-prepared meals daily, 24-hour certified nursing and medication aid service, concierge service, weekly housekeeping (washing of linens included), scheduled transportation, utilities including cable, and fun daily activities on and off campus. Residents also enjoy a planned signature restaurant style food/dining experience, weekly social gatherings, a large swimming pool, a fitness room run by our fitness coordinator, and several library areas for quiet reading!
