Overall, employees who have worked for Integral Senior Living in the Roseville, CA area have had mostly positive experiences. 3.12 out of 5 stars. Based on 209 reviews
Overall, employees have positive things to say about working for Integral Senior Living. They appreciate the great people that really care, the free food, the flexible scheduling, the good pay and benefits, and the amazing culture. They also appreciate the good local employees, the lovely coworkers, and the meaningful work. However, there are some areas of improvement such as communication, corporate support, and better pay and benefits. Advice to management includes investing in a modern ERP, providing self-serve options through technology, listening to employees, and paying more to their EDs.By clicking "Get Exact Costs", you agree to our Partner's Terms of Use. Really shocked by the Voicemail left on my phone by Jeff I had called over a week ago to see if they were hiring in the kitchen manager in for me that they were in so I submitted an application and received a phone call from Jeff today saying that email they received my application but they are going to continue to pursue other candidates and good luck in my job search and I do not need to continue applying there I mean I understand that there might be people more qualified than me but just to be quick and fast about it was just beyond rude don’t worry Jeff I’ll do myself favor and not apply here again especially seeing how you treat people that are looking to apply at your facility
My dad lives there. Everyone is very caring and compassionate. The staff is personable and responsive. It feels like a community with social activities and friendships. I could see my and husband and myself living there when the time was right 😊. Oh and you can have wine with dinner in the dining hall:) The food is great!
I moved my mother into the Terraces a few months ago. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and made the move very easy for me. It was during COVID and since we were not allowed in the building, the staff made sure all her possessions were moved in and put it place so that she could feel comfortable right away. I provided a layout of the furniture and they executed the design. My mother enjoys the staff and the other friendly tenants. She also enjoys the food. The location is perfect for her; close to shopping, Kaiser and other establishments that she is used to frequenting. There are many activities for them to take part in and they even plan group outings.
My 86-year old dad lives here. Staff is super helpful and patient in taking care of him. They are extremely diligent during the Covid-19 crisis-- such a critical issue for the elderly living in congregate living situations where they are all so physically close. Staff is very attentive and kind and specifically Jasmine and Jeff have gone above and beyond.
My father has lived here for the last year. Amazing staff that really care for everyone who lives there. I was impressed how serious they took the social distancing guidelines always putting the residents health and safety first. Right now you can't visit family due to virus but in the long term my dads safety is the most important. Glad they are making the hard choices and instituting strict guidelines. I would recommend the Terraces to any family that wants piece of mind for their loved ones
My Father has been a resident for 10 months. Last week someone entered his apartment and stole his wedding ring and Elks ring from his nightstand. We filed a police report. He and our family has had mostly good experiences; very kind staff, caring, clean facility. However, apparently there is a recent problem with theft. He was told another resident had an IPad stolen, the manager told me a speaker in the lobby disappeared and there have been other thefts. We filed a police report, and are hoping management will step up their security. Meanwhile, we are installing an interior camera in my dad's apartment. Management changed the locks, however all staff still have keys. A plea to the ownership --- consider installing key card type locks so there is a record of who enters each apartment, time stamped. My dad feels very violated and we are doing out best to give him peace of mind.
I am very pleased with my mom's experience in assisted living at The Terraces of Roseville. All the staff from the front desk, the aides, the meal wait staff, the pharmacy techs are all kind people. The nurse Gladys is a hardworking caring person that the residents are lucky to have watching over them. The facility is clean, modern, safe, smells good, and has a lovely pet friendly courtyard. My moms Maltese dog Sami gives the place a 5 star. My moms studio is plenty big, with a nice balcony. They have a nice number of activities and good transportation for doctors visits. The food is good and the waitstaff are very prompt and efficient, get the orders right the first time, and wait time is minimal. Parking is plentiful. Depending on time of day, can be challenging exiting on busy Sunrise avenue. I am optimistic my mom will be happy, well cared for and safe here for her remaining days.Dan H.Fair Oaks, CA
I helped my aunt and uncle moved into Terraces almost 15 years ago due to health issues which limited activity and driving. They both appreciated the socialization, food, having their own apartment and ability to be driven to the store and church. My uncle passed away after 3 years, and my aunt continued to live at Terraces. She would not have been able to live alone and to continue living in a supportive environment was a blessing. There have been transitions in the management over the years with occasional changes in dining experience and activities. I have been increasingly more active in my aunt's care as she has aged and her dementia has gradually progressed. In the last 2-3 years, I have been very impressed with the communication from her caregivers who check on her and manage her medications (thank you Mo!) . The staff has always been receptive to my questions and concerns and taken steps to address any issues brought to their attention in a professional manner. As my aunt as progressed, there has been good support in problem solving how to meet her care needs in a respectful manner that supports her independence. Doing this for someone with advancing dementia can be a challenge due to behavioral issues and I have appreciated the support and discussions. I have observed that the front desk and other staff members always greet guests and residence respectfully (no matter how many times the same question is asked). The recent thank you card left for my aunt, thanking her for her prior help in craft classes (which she is no longer able to do), was a treasure to her that she talked about for weeks. I can count on Geri at the front desk/office, or the med techs, to let me know if my aunt's behavior changes that can signal health changes that I need to address. My aunt is likely nearing a time when she will need to transition to a memory care support but in the mean time, Terraces is her home.
Our mother has resided here for 5+ years. I have never felt uncomfortable with her living situation and have always felt she was in a safe atmosphere. I visit her twice a week so I am present frequently. The longevity of her stay at this facility is a good indicator. Although it has had it's ups and downs regarding management and heavy turnover, it has recently been bought, the Director is attentive, and we are hopeful we will start to see even more good changes.
If you have a loved one looking for an assisted living place, this is not the place it appears. They have a memorary care unit that is understaffed, and the rooms are not even ADA approved. Also don't be fooled there is No extra certification for Memory Care they are only licensed for assisted living. My Mom would not be showered when they logged it in the book that she was. She was left dirty and wet all the time. Just take a look at their dinning hall, I don't know how the health department doesn't shut them down. Dirty chairs carpet and kitchen. Just be aware this isn't the place for a loved one who needs any extra help.
Lovely exterior and interior presentation, but minimal supervision. Only the independent should live here. Terrible housekeeping. Took almost 6 weeks ro resolve a stopped up toilet! Beware of loss leader pricing - you move in at once price and they keep adding points for services (putting in a hearing aid, removing dentures, etc.). Food OK, but desserts taste like they came out of a vending machine. Weak management.
I absolutely enjoy working with the terraces team not only are they a hop skip and a jump away but Carrie is always willing to jump in and help at my community whenever I ask! This independent living community is definitely one to be envied and it’s cost efficient compared to the others around, if you’re looking for a great place to live and to work with an amazing Director of sales and marketing, Carrie is the one ask for her!
during Covid, we all went way beyond helped people set up their apartments help them move in. What was so frustrating was a lot of their toenails needed clipped it made their feet very painful no one did anything about it. It was sad their hair could not be washed or styled as we did not have the ability to have hairdressers come in. Tracy the activity Director did a great job i’m doing the best she could. I love the owners but the management lacks in support and favors certain ones. I had worked here almost 4 years and loved the owners but again the management was not at all professional or good. They were not consistent in their promises. We’re supposed to be compassionate about our residence however not everyone there is compassionate for our residence they’re only there for their paychecks. Since I was let go in February a lot of the staff has quit. It is in my opinion the activities are not stimulating enough for the men of the community hopefully they will change. Management tries to intimidate you. I loved our residents and families but feel not all of them were treated fairly
I moved my mother-inlaw into the Terraces a few months ago. The staff is very friendly and has gone above and beyond to try to make her feel comfortable. It was a difficult transition for her and she fought it at first but has settled in now. She really likes the staff and the food. We like that she is in a safe place where she can move freely and make new friends.
Edit to previous review: I worked here for 2 years, and was treated extremely poorly by the executive director jasmine ridenour, who happenes to be the niece of the owner of the company, sue farrow. I made this clear to HR, but nothing was ever done. Its pretty easy to put 2 and 2 together as to why nothing changed in that regard. After she left, the new director had ZERO support in his role. I was in a position to support him, but I had a new opportunity, so I had to leave. Since then, he has not been given the assistance needed to succeed in such a large building, and has since given his resignation. He lasted 2 months. Not because he wasn't capable (quite the contrary), but when the odds are stacked against you like they were, anyone will fail.I love the staff that's still there. They will work hard for your loved ones, they will do whatever they can to get people in place to do their best, but admittedly, in a covid environment, hiring has been difficult. I would trust my family to live here overall, but I just cant give them a higher rating, based on how poorly the senior management company runs its buildings.Original Review: Its a great place to work, and based on what I see in this staff, its a great place to live as well. I love the food, I eat it every day! The staff cares for the residents here, and seeing their smiles every day makes it worth coming in every day.
I'm a senior center entertainer and have performed at the Terraces in Roseville since 2015. The residents at the Terraces are among the nicest group of people I've gotten to meet over the years. And Traci Purvis, the activity director at the Terraces, Is a peach to work with. She always has a smile and a kind word for me. I would be happy to be a resident at the Terraces:)
The Terraces of Roseville is a fantastic place to work, and a warm and inviting place to call home. The entire staff has worked incredibly hard through the pandemic to keep the residents safety their top priority. Very friendly and outgoing staff members, and a great group of residents. I would absolutely move a loved one here without a second thought.
Ricki, we had a similar experience recently. My mom has lived there for 2-1/2 years and while there are some very kind and caring staff members who we love -- Linda, Dana, Sandy, Geri, A.D., Norma, to name a few -- there have been new hires in the past six to nine months, which is precisely the time period when I've heard other families have reported thefts. My mom's necklace was artisan-crafted, expensive, and she never took it off, even in the shower. According to my mom, who does have some bouts with Parkinson's-related dementia, one of the new girls took the necklace off and now it's missing. I filed a police report and the officer assured me that if enough reports are filed when families realize their loved ones are missing items, they will send a detective to The Terraces to investigate. I'm moving my mom to another place, not just because of the theft but because she's progressing in her dementia and needs more care. We will miss those staff members who've been so kind to her, but not the girl who stole her necklace.
My Father is currently a resident. He and our family has had mostly good experiences; very kind staff, caring, clean facility. However, apparently there is a recent problem with theft. My father had someone enter his apartment and take two rings from his nightstand, another resident had an IPad stolen and there have been other thefts. We filed a police report, and are hoping management will step up their security. Meanwhile, we are installing an interior camera in my dad's apartment. Management changed the locks, however all staff still have keys. A plea to the ownership --- consider installing key card type locks so there is a record of who enters each apartment. My dad feels very violated and we are doing out best to give him peace of mind.
My mom Marcie moved in awhile back, (assisted living) and being the responsible one for her, I feel like I did a great job choosing The Terraces! I really love everyone who works so hard to make it her home. Always a smiling face and hello each time I come for a visit. I can call anytime for anything, and that front desk is on it!! I am one happy daughter! oh yes, and my mom is pretty happy too.
So pleased with this facility. I gave it a real once over but everything looked great. It was very clean and well decorated. All the residents there that I spoke to LOVED IT! That's the best referral one can give!Staff was super sweet and Kim was amazing! She answered all my questions and took me everywhere! They have Wednesday field trips to the River Cats games, Old Sac, Nevada City, Bodega Bay..... and Sunday's after church they go for a drive. Fishing and games and crafts! I might move in!!!!!! Thank you Kim for helping me!
Moved my Mom in there almost a year ago, and we love it. The management has completely turned over, and are doing a great job bringing things around much, much better.Staff treat her well and courteously, room cleaned nicely each week. She's not happy at times with the meals, but that's par for the course with my Mom anyway. I've eaten there and found no real issues.Monthly evaluations are easy and well done for possible assisted living requirements. Mom moved in just after a knee replacement and needed assistance at first. Staff checked with her regularly. Once she's recovered, no more assistance is needed so those costs dropped.
