After long and careful consideration, I moved my father into the Pearl at Jamestown for “respite”.In less than 30 days it became “home”. The staff andnurses are truly amazing. Their patience, care, andlove for their residents extends beyond duty. Ellen keeps them occupied daily with wonderful activities and inventions. She is perfectly fit for her job and always shares her smile. There are “outings” as well.Someone is always available for discussion. My children love to visit on weekends and join in the games. I enjoy wayching the joy they bring and the residents have become their family too.I honestly live in peace knowing my father is being cared for with respect and love.We are blessed to be part of this wonderful family.
The exceptionally caring and approachable staff and current leadership have been fantastic! The facility is also outstanding, a custom-built structure that offers sunny rooms to its residents, a private dining room which can be reserved for family visits, various cozy community spaces, as well as a beautiful courtyard setting for residents to enjoy the outdoors. The Pearl at Jamestown provides all the necessary laundry and grooming services to keep residents comfortable, activities throughout the day, field trips for residents, cooking classes, musical performances, and church services. Most importantly, round-the-clock nursing care, low resident-to-caregiver ratios, and routine wellness reviews provide piece of mind for family. Thanks to The Pearl at Jamestown for all they do for my mother and brother!!!
I have worked directly with the staff since the day they opened. Everyone adores the residents and loves them...they are a BIG family. The Pearl takes pride in offering such a unique facility to our community and you see it in all of the smiles when you visit. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing memory care.
