The Mann House has been providing top Alzheimer's and advanced Memory Care to the Sandy Springs/Buckhead community for 30 years, and now we're bringing our legacy of care, compassion and value to Cumming/John's Creek! The Mann House/Sandy Springs is known for its gracious, high quality environment and this state of the art assisted living home features the same. This brand new home situated off exit 13 on I-400 boasts 50 private suites, set amongst serene wooded grounds with park sitting areas. You'll enjoy elegant dining in the community rooms, along with an array of other top-notch amenities.

Assisted Living

Since we opened our doors 31 years ago, we have been providing 24/7 assistance with Activities-of-Daily-Living (ADLs) to our residents, based on their individual needs. The Mann House was founded as an alternative to nursing facilities and state institutions that provided little in the way of recreation, activities, or entertainment. The Mann House is a unique combination of top level healthcare and a social model that addresses the needs of patients.

Memory Care

As we gained experience and knowledge, it became clear that many residents and their families required care services well beyond the scope of those commonly offered in personal care or assisted living properties. After 1992, we began to take in Residents with more difficult needs, often connected to degenerative neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's and senile dementia, Lewy Body disease (another form of dementia), and progressive nerve disorders like Parkinson's and ALS.

Dining

We understand that the second most important service we perform (with CARE GIVING being #1) is our legendary dining service, served in beautifully furnished dining rooms. We've spent 30 years creating the ultimate dining experience for our residents, with delicious and nutritious meals prepared three times a day by our on-staff executive chefs. Our fine restaurant style tableside service makes every meal special. We always use fresh, locally sourced ingredients in our scratch-made meals, keeping the changing dietary needs of older adults in mind.

Memory Care Services and Amenities

The Mann House Cumming/Forsyth provides comprehensive memory care services and amenities for its residents. Their 24/7 care is intensive and designed to meet the needs of those with advanced Alzheimer's and Dementia. The staff assists with incontinence management, behavioral issues, diabetes monitoring and insulin glucose checks, and specialized activities/therapy. All residents are supervised 24/7 to ensure their safety and well-being, with hospice care available as appropriate.
