Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
We do not currently have a waitlist for independent/assisted living apartments. We do currently have a waitlist for memory care.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We currently have 2 LVN nurses, one of which is the Health Services director. Our wellness team is made up of several caregivers and medical technicians.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
Our front door to the community locks at sundown every day, and all visitors after that time must call the concierge desk before they can enter the building. For residents with memory issues in assisted living, they must wear a wander guard at all times which keeps track of every time they leave the building. An alarm will sound if a wander guard exits the building.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, transportation up to 7 miles is included in the rent price.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included in the rent price. The dining room is open from 7am-7pm every day, and it is an open seating area.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
All residents are encouraged to bring any non-medical issues to the Executive Director. Medical issues can be brought to the Health Services Director.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
Residents can have a cell phone or a landline in their apartments, as well as a computer, to communicate with their loved ones. Their family and friends are also able to visit them 24/7. There are no “visiting hours.”
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer respite stays. All apartments are leased on a month-to-month basis.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Yes
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
We do not offer either in the community, but we are a block away from several medical offices including Providence St. Joseph’s hospital.
Are residents able to age in place?
Absolutely! We do not currently have a waitlist for independent/assisted living apartments. We do currently have a waitlist for memory care.
