Staff and Training
All staff is required to take Relias testing prior to starting at Tequesta Terrace. This testing covers all areas of Assisted Living. All wellness staff must be certified based on their positions and titles. Our Executive Director has also been a nurse for 30 years. All directors have many years of experience as well as staff. We have several CNA’s (Certified nursing assistants) that have been here over 15 years as well as some of our nurses over 10 years.
Resident Safety and Well-being
Each resident has their own care plan in place based on their individual needs to ensure their safety. This is determined by an assessment from our Wellness Director. All Assisted Living residents are given a pendant as well.
Transition Support Services
Yes. We work with both the family and new resident to ensure a smooth transition.

Dining Experience
We provide 3 gourmet meals a day. Our food service director has been here at the community for 17 years. Our food is prepared fresh daily. (if salmon is on the menu for lunch it is delivered in the morning.) I welcome you to come in for a tour and have lunch with us so you can enjoy the dining experience personally.
Addressing Resident Complaints
There is a list of all department heads phone numbers and email addresses that is given day of move in so they can address an issue directly with that department director.
Communication with Families
An emergency contact is filled out prior to move in and is used by our wellness team to contact. We also have a recreation system called Sagely that keeps you posted with resident activity.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Yes, based on availability. Daily rate is based on size of apartment.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes. Small Dog or cat and resident must be able to care for their pet.
Waitlist Information
Waitlist depends on size apartment you would be interested in. Right now, there is a waitlist for 2 bedroom/2 bath and 1 bedroom deluxe.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
Not at this time.
Aging in Place
Yes, that is our goal. We have both an LNS (limited nursing services) and ECC (enhanced Congregate care) Licensing which allows a resident to age in place, However, we are NOT skilled nursing. Examples for skilled are Hoya lift, feeding tube. We do have Hospice come in for resident when time comes if needed so they can stay.
