We have educated leadership on staff in all areas with our caregivers including RN, LPN, CNA, Med Techs, and trained caregivers. Our training programs are extensive and on-going.

Resident Complaints and Issues
We have an open door policy. When a new resident moves into the community they are given the names and numbers of regional and corporate leadership as well should that contact be required for resolution.
Cost of Living
We have apartments in Assisted Living and Memory Care (Reminiscence) consisting of studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom with various rates based on variables of location, availability, etc. Our residents have a Level of Care pricing level too. I will be happy to discuss specific types of apartments with you.
Communication with Resident's Families
I am attaching some collateral relative to this question. Because we have designated caregivers, it will make your communication updates more current and rapid.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do offer short-term and respite stays as well as a program called Road Home for the transition from hospital or rehab to home all based on available and open apartments. The cost, again, will vary on apartment type and care needs.
Pet-Friendly Community
Yes, as long as the resident can care for the pet or have arrangements to do so. And we have a community pet (Max the cat).

Yes, residents are able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community.

Sunrise of Pikesville is a smaller community with shorter hallways and neighborhood furniture allowing a place to rest.
Our Unique Assisted Living License
A primary part to set our community apart from all the other assisted living communities is our Assisted Living license. This license allows our team to provide a higher level of nursing care when needed to our residents than most of the other local facilities you may visit. We can administer medications (including insulin), offer multiple persons assists, use of a Hoyer lift, provide physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy on-site, coordinate hospice care when needed and provide additional clinical support. All of this means that our residents can age-in-place in the comfort of this community.
What's Included in the Base Rent?
Base rent includes weekly housekeeping and laundry, three healthy and delicious meals each day, a team of Designated Care Managers for each resident, access to our nursing staff, transportation to medical appointments, and all in-house programs and activities. Personal care service and medication management are additional and are determined by our nurse’s assessment.
