This place needs to be shut down by the state .
As a former employee I would like to say If your loved one is not independent, DO NOT send them here. This is an assisted living facility, and unfortunately due to low census , upper management is more worried about money then about the needs and care of the residents and they will take your family member regardless of the condition they are in. If your loved one has severe health issues , do not send them here, they will not get the proper care they need. There is only two nurses one in each building and they are only here Monday -Friday 8 hours a day . I have personally watched them neglect residents until it’s too late which leads to them in the hospital dying . When the nurses aren’t working , CNA’s and CMA’s are there , but unfortunately if your loved one has extensive health issues , CMAS/CNAS are not nurses , nor do they have the proper education to take care of sick people by themselves. If they are going to take these type of residents in , we need to have a nurse 24/7 . The north building gets catered to while the memory care building is severely neglected. They spend money to fix up north and make it look nice , while memory care is falling apart , the dining room chairs are cut up and gross but they won’t replace them . North gets fun activities, memory care does not. North is stocked up with supplies needed for cleaning and resident care , south doesn’t have supplies . I could go on and on . People have voiced these concerns to the administrator and she won’t do a thing about it . I think the place needs shut down . Avoid this place at all costs but especially if your loved one needs special care .
