Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our nursing staff consists of RNs, LPNs, QMAs, and CNAs. We offer numerous training programs, including encouraging growth for our employees to move up in the company. Any and everything from dementia training to phlebotomy is offered!
Safety and Well-being Measures
We have numerous, numerous measures in place; is there anything specifically I could discuss for you?
Transitioning into the Community
We offer one of the best therapy programs in the community! We even offer home evaluations to ensure our residents are safe to return to their specific home, including stair preparation if needed, assisted devices, and preparing our rehab'ed residents with home health and medications delivered to their home. We also offer the "Almost Home" program, allowing residents to utilize one of our Assisted Living apartments to "test out" how they will do living more independently. It is a highly-utilized program, and we have significant success in getting our rehab residents home safely.
Transportation Services
We sure do! Transportation to doctor appointments, grocery shopping, and everything in-between is offered! Just let us know well enough in advance so we can get everything scheduled. It is $22 one-way for transport within Bloomington/Ellettsville/Spencer.
Dining Experience
Absolutely. Stonecroft has won silver in the 'Culinary Olympics' of over 250 campuses across five states, and we are proud of that second place! Our meals are hand-prepared, and we offer a restaurant-style dining experience. Each day, we provide our residents with the following days' menu, and we can assist with filling out the menu as well (if needed). We have a 'chef's choice' option that alternates on about a monthly basis, and if the chef's choice doesn't sound good to the resident, we have numerous, numerous options listed below that they may choose from. Anything you can think of, we probably offer it on the menu!
Addressing Complaints and Issues
The Director of Social Services will be the first to take care of the situation, and depending on what department leader needs to know, she will notify them to have a quick resolution. When family needs involved and updated, they are notified as well.
Cost of Living
We have quite a few options, ranging from Assisted Living, long-term care, respite, short-term therapy, and Memory Care. Is there anything specifically you are looking for so I may give you a more specific answer?
Communication with Residents' Families
We update families on a basis set by the family; if family would like us to call them daily about their loved ones, we would be happy to notify! When doing new admission paperwork with the resident and/or family, we ensure that all contacts who need listed, are listed. And if someone is the power of attorney (POA), we will ensure the POA stays up to date on everything, and they can in turn disseminate the information as needed.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We sure do! Depending on whether you are looking for short-term respite on Assisted Living, Memory Care, or our skilled side of the building, we have pricing starting at $239/day.
Pet-Friendly Community
We are a pet-friendly facility! They can't stay overnight with us, but they are welcome to visit as much as they would like!
Vaccinations
They sure can! We offer the COVID vaccination(s), including boosters, influenza vaccinations, and even pneumococcal vaccinations!
Aging in Place
We strongly, strongly encourage our residents to age in place! Once a resident moves in with us, they never really have to worry about finding placement elsewhere. We offer any and everything they could ever need, so family will never have to worry about their loved ones learning new faces, moving across town, or anything like that. We have residents move from Assisted Living to Memory Care, short-term rehab to Assisted Living, etc. We offer (and encourage) they stick around! Depending on what service line you are looking for (Assisted Living, Memory Care, Short-term Rehab, or Long-term Care), I do have a waitlist for one of them. Any specific service line I could look into for you?
