Availability and Housing Options
Currently, we do not have a waitlist. However, our availability is limited to one studio, a few 1-bedroom/1-bathroom units, and only one 2-bedroom/1-bathroom unit.
Staff and Training
Every employee, regardless of their position, undergoes two weeks of core competency courses as required by the state. Additionally, each department has its own set of training requirements throughout the year. All employees are also fingerprinted, drug tested, and required to take a CPR class.
Safety and Well-being Measures
We ensure the safety and well-being of our residents by checking on them at least four times a day, with more frequent checks if necessary. A med tech is available 24 hours a day, and doors are locked from 8pm to 6am for added security.
Transition Support Services
Our "welcoming team" of residents provides support for as long as needed to help new residents transition into the community. New residents also meet with the Directors (Activities, Housekeeping, Kitchen, etc.) to tailor support services to their needs.
Transportation Services
We offer free transportation services for residents from Monday to Friday.
Dining Experience
Our dining experience is restaurant-style, allowing residents to sit wherever they like. Servers take orders, and we follow a dietary-approved menu, including specials for each meal and an alternative menu.
Handling Complaints and Issues
A Resident’s Council is in place to address any and all complaints, with two representatives from each hallway. Unresolved issues can be escalated to the Executive Director, and if necessary, the State Ombudsman can be contacted.
Communication with Residents' Families
Communication preferences with residents' families are established during the admission process. Typically, we use phone calls to keep families updated as deemed necessary.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Our respite room is currently being reorganized for future use. The cost for short-term or respite stays will depend on several factors.
Pet Policy
Our community is pet-friendly, with a monthly fee of $150 for pets.
Vaccinations
Residents are able to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place, although we currently do not have a memory care unit.

Review Summary
The following is an AI generated summary of the reviews of the community from across the web.
Residents and their families have shared a range of experiences at Sterling Court, with many highlighting the positive aspects of living and working there. The community is praised for its beautiful, home-like environment, caring and professional staff, and a wide array of activities and amenities that include daily activities, transportation, wonderful meals, and entertainment. Many reviews note the strong sense of community and the friendships formed among residents.
Staff members, from various departments including chefs, servers, CNAs, RNs, maintenance, and housekeeping, are commended for their professionalism and caring nature. The facility is described as a great place to work, with a family-like atmosphere that extends to both residents and employees. Special events like luaus and holiday buffets are particularly appreciated for bringing residents and their families together in enjoyable ways.
However, not all experiences have been positive. One review expressed disappointment with the handling of a maintenance issue that caused distress to a resident on hospice care, citing a lack of prompt response and communication from the staff. Another review shared a negative experience related to a family member's short stay, highlighting concerns over the facility's handling of a situation triggered by anxiety and the financial implications of their departure.
Despite these isolated incidents, the majority of feedback is overwhelmingly positive, with many recommending Sterling Court for its exceptional care, beautiful setting, and the compassionate community it fosters. Prospective residents and their families are encouraged to visit and experience the welcoming atmosphere firsthand.
