Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all the care givers at our Star Valley Care Center!! From the people who clean, the cooks, the nurses, the CNA’s, other staff, and the volunteers who are so committed to keeping our seniors there safe, and well taken care of. My mom feels well cared for and happy, and especially safe right now and so appreciative of everyone there. It is one less concern I have while this health scare is going on. You all are the BOMB!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Dr Morgan is amazing. He always goes out of his way to provide the best possible care. Don’t know where we would be without this man. I wish some of the other doctors would take a page out of his book and fill prescriptions when they say they would on 2 separate occasions (the only 2 times you’ve been to this Dr.) before they leave town or return phone calls when you’ve been leaving them messages for the past 4 days. And then when you have the audacity to complain, have said Dr refuse to treat you . If said Dr would ever return any of your phone calls you wouldn’t have had reason to complain in the first place. Truely wish experience with that Dr had been as amazing as it was with Dr Morgan. Maybe Dr Morgan sets the bar to high. Dr Morgan goes out of his way and the other Dr/nurse wouldn’t even pick up the phone. Not meaning to imply that the other doesn’t care. I’m sure he must care about some thing. It just wasn’t us. Had other positive experiences with other Drs too. I guess it can’t all be gravy.
I have had lots of hospital visits over the years with both myself and family members with complicated medical issues. Our experience at Star Valley Health was probably the best of them all. The hospital is clean, modern, and has a caring, well trained staff. I would recommend this hospital if you are looking for high quality care.
Have had heart problems for years. Another admission for same problems. Pain management isn’t really being taken too seriously, here, but the staff is friendly and caring. I guess all the rude people are off today. My own Dr, knowing my story, stopped in to check on me. All of my children have been born here except one. Alot has changed since then, but the basics are looked after. You can’t ask for much more in a town this small.
My wife slept in the snow and broke her tib / fib and dislocated her heel bone. The staff at Star Valley understood we were from out of town and went above and beyond what I thought would happen. Instead of just splitting it and sending us back on a 14.5 hour drive to California, they were able to put her heel bone back in place and Split it and we waited from the swelling to go down so they could preform the necessary operation to repair the broken bones. I don’t know the names for the MD and RNs that did the surgery and watched over her, but I can’t thank them all enough. We still have a long trip home but I feel so much better now that the operation was a success. Thank you all so much.
I want to warn anyone that I can; whatever you do do not enter your parents into this facility. My mother was admitted here not on Medicaid and had no money to pay. They accepted her and told us Medicaid should be no problem. She was denied Medicaid; upon her admission they made me sign as responsible party never telling me that made me as the adult child on the hook for her bill. Medicaid was denied again leaving a large bill. I told the home we would pay them each month what we could. They told me that would be fine. Soon after they they turned me over to collections and now the agency is suing me for the bill. These people will tell you anything then turn the tables on you! Go elsewhere and don’t ever sign on your parents behalf! I am now facing a soon upcoming court trial because of these people!
