My wife, Sally and I, are very happy that her sister , Linda, is living and being cared for at South Meadows. While she has only been a resident for two plus months, it is obvious to both of us that she is receiving excellent - actually outstanding! - care. Linda is very comfortable with her new living situation. She had to move from her assisted living facility to a group home that provides more care. Understandably, due to COVID-19 ,we are only able to visit her outside the residence from a distance with masks on, but that is okay. The staff face times LInda to us twice daily and it's the next best thing. We are especially glad that the owners and caregivers take Covid 19 seriously. The owner, Nucharee, is most professional and intuitive and updates my wife Sally on a regular basis. LInda has made tremendous progress already since she's been at South Meadows. Likewise, Linda's caregivers are kind, competent, communicative and very good to her. She is thriving here!
We moved our mother into this home after a horrible experience with another assisted living facility. I wanted to wait to post a review because it seemed like this place was too good to be true. Well, I was wrong about that because it is better than we expected! I talked to many providers before deciding to move mom to this place. Covid prevented me from visiting most places but Nucharee understood that I needed to be able to see where our mom was going to live. She took all of the necessary precautions when I did a site visit and when we moved mom in. (masked up, temp taken, stayed away from other residents and staff, etc. and explained this was a special circumstance to allow me to be inside). Mom had to quarantine (even though she had just left a facility with clear covid test) but we all understood the reason. In the month that she has been there, our mom has gained weight, does not decline any of the homecooked meals, is now engaging with staff and participating in the exercise program. All of which we were told she refused to do at the other facility. We were told she needed a "higher level of care" than what they could give her. I guess that meant that they just needed staff to treat her like a human being that is someone's loved one because that is exactly what Nucharee, Jelica and Gabrielle do every day. Moving mom during covid was challenging, having a loved one in a facility where you can't visit is challenging but the daily videos showing us how she is thriving make it all worth it. I can't thank you enough for those pics and videos. The Facetime options are great too because even though we can't visit in person, they have a dedicated phone for Facetime calls so we can at least feel like we are visiting. :)We are so happy that there was an opening because we do feel that mom is getting the best care possible. Thank you Nucharee and staff for treating mom like you would treat your own family. I look forward to visiting soon but until it is safe to do so, I will look forward to the videos, photos and facetime visits!I would definitely recommend South Meadows Residential Care Home. We aren't able to keep mom at home with us but feel this is the next best place. Thank you again Nucharee for your compassion for taking care of our family.
We looked at several residence homes before choosing South Meadows for our Mom who suffers from moderate to severe dementia. We are very happy with our choice. The staff and management have been excellent caring for her. Our Mom seems to be better off there, and after years of declines her condition now seems to be on an even keel, or even improved at times because of the quality of her care. Moreover, the staff's responsiveness to our concerns and their efforts to keep us updated and connected to her remotely during the last few months have been incredible. We are truly appreciative and thankful for finding this residence and crew.
I recently moved my 90 year old aunt to this wonderful location. The care she receives here is extraordinary. It is a beautiful facility. Sparkely clean, beautiful gardens. The staff and care givers are extremely kind & caring.I want to thank the owner, Nucharee Yokdang for all her compassion and wonderful care. I highly recommend this home.
What a wonderful new group home!! It’s big, spacious, beautiful, clean, and full of people who truly care about the care of your loved one! It doesn’t get any better than that. First impressions are important and the pics of their entry way and lobby corner show that. It’s also in a great neighborhood!!
