Nice place to live except for the food and dining room/kitchen problems. Food quality and quantity are below par. The kitchen repeatedly “runs out” of the published entree. A second choice is offered only to find out they have “run out” of it also. How in the world does a “gracious living” kitchen “run out” of hotdogs? Or a baked potato? I am concerned that the “gracious living” price tag does not include the variety or nutrition we expected.
Current resident review - August 2018. Beautiful, elegant facility built in December 2016. Frequent management team changes - five Manager and / or Assistant Manager team changes in one year. Very average food - great breakfasts, okay lunches and very weak suppers. Transportation to doctor appointments and shopping strong. Historically weak activities program for residents.
My father moved into Sanford estates in June 2018. My father is very happy there and has made a lot of new friends. It’s a Very well run complex, the managers and all support staff are very attentive to the residents needs. A good variety of activities if residents choose to partake. The complex is brand new and is maintained by a very caring team. The in house ala carte aid staff is outstanding - they offer additional services for a very reasonable fee as needed. As far as I’m concerned, Sanford Eststes is top notch!
