I really love Roseberry Care and I usually use the word love lightly. For the following reasons, I would use the word LOVE1.) Moments at Roseberry- I recently met Roseberry at a local vendor event and I love how they are recreating the wheel for senior care... Maybe I shouldn't say recreating the wheel and more actually following through with matching their actions to their words. They started a program called Moments at Roseberry where they invite local high school students to their facility to participate with seniors. Activities include rock painting, cupcake wars, and even musical performances. Students can then receive the school's mandated volunteer hours and the seniors enjoy the company of the kid's. It's a win-win in my book.2.) Facility Atmosphere- It's more like a feeling of home than a facility. When I think of senior facilities I think of strange smells and gross food. But instead, you get the feeling of warmth, fun, and staff that cares for their residents. No weird smells and..... by far better food then I get at home. So if I were a senior or had a place my mom dad, grandma or grandpa in a home I would definitely feel good about placing them here!
As a traveling Activity Director I've been facilitating activities with the senior residents at Roseberry Care Home for over 4 years. It's a great place to work, I love it! The residents enjoy participating in physical recreation including kick ball balloon toss indoor darts and many more. Activities also include social group interaction memory games art expression and music therapy. Activities for seniors is important and needed for their physical Intellectual Social Spiritual and Emotional quality of life! The staff is great and provide a loving home style setting, I would recommend this facility to anyone.Diane Simon owner ActiveCare in home services
We recently toured Roseberry, looking for an improved solution for our mom’s care. It’s been getting harder for everyone at home. We had visited a number of facilities including this one last year when she was initially diagnosed. Have to say, wow, what a great transformation that seems to be happening at Roseberry. We prefer the smaller size of this facility and the creative approach to care. And we love the new look in the main room and porch. So much brighter and happier now. We’re still “negotiating” with our siblings on timing but hope to make Roseberry a new home for mom soon.
By chance, I stopped in at Roseberry Care to inquire about the facility and whether it would be a good fit for my elderly mother who had Parkinson’s Disease. I knew instantly, after speaking w/the manager Samantha and taking a quick tour that it was the perfect fit for mom.The transition from her home to Roseberry was unbelievably easy due to the extremely loving staff, excellent homemade meals, wonderful care and homey environment. My mom lived at Roseberry for one and one half years and actually thrived from all the attention. I cannot say enough good things about this facility and highly recommend it for anyone’s loved one!
