I absolutely recommend ridgecrest! I have worked in a number of hospitality venues, as well as healthcare communities and I have never had as great a job as i have at ridgecrest. The management Team is supportive and invested in seeing their team grow and excel. The residents are terrific! I encourage anyone to check it out. We would love to have you as a part of our family!
Ridgecrest is one of the best places to live in mount airy,, n c . The staff who are the best make sure that all of the residents are well taken care of. They care about each and every one of it residents. You are family at Ridgecrest. There is always something to do and the food is great. I would highly recommend anyone to come and live at Ridgecrest. There is always someone to help you with anything you need. Check them out and be amazed.
My mom had a stroke about 5 years ago in Ohio. We needed help. Nancy Smith in assisted living helped me move mom to Ridgecrest to be near me. My mom stayed in assisted living for two months and was able to move to independent living. With the care of LiveLongWellCare, she has been able to stay in her apartment. She has been able to maintain some independence. This is important. I am an RN who has directed in-patient care facilities. And I highly recommend RidgeCrest.
What a blessing Ridgecrest is! The light show that was done for Christmas brought a spirit to the community that brightened the lives of everybody who got to see it. GREAT JOB! During these trying and tough times of isolation during COVID - Ridgecrest continues to be amazing to keep everyone active and their spirits up for our loved ones who are residents! CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH THANKS TO YOU ALL!
My Mom lives at RidgeCrest and I can’t begin to express how excellent the staff have been, especially through the pandemic. They have established fun socially distant activities, they continually look at how to make family visiting safe, and have been fast to prevent cases of COVID. Everyone is professional yes friendly and helpful. Thank you all!
I have the pleasure of working at a place that I don't even call a job it is my life the residents are absolutely fabulous and the staff is superior. to come to work everyday and be around my grandma and my grandpa and to have such a great support team from management is wonderful. we are all truly a family there.
We had searched for two years for a senior community where we could relocate and enjoy a more care free lifestyle. Ridgecrest has more than exceeded our expectations in this regard and has provided a setting for meeting many kind and caring friends. We have been welcomed so graciously by both The staff and residents. We have never experienced a more welcoming culture than exists on the Ridgecrest campus. In less than a week, any insecurities that one might have about making such a profound transition were quickly dismissed. We are both happy and content in our new home and we have accomplished this without long term, resource draining commitments that many senior communities require. We recommend this community highly. My family was privileged to have the Ridgecrest Community supporting our mother! The staff team who operated the Assisted Living Unit seemed like extended family to us. Their support throughout the day was pleasant, cheerful and caring. Special needs were always attended to in a way that made my mother feel supported. Recovery from a fall meant encouraging our mother to adhere to a physical therapy routine to maintain her mobility and overall health. The staff knew how to motivate and inspire. Our family will always be grateful for all of the kindness and care provided by the fabulous team of the Ridgecrest Community. Thank you!
We always enjoy singing at Ridgecrest! The residents are friendly and lively. We enjoy talking with them after and before our events. We also appreciate the staff and the great job they do at keeping the residents happy. We consider it a privilege to be able to entertain at Ridgecrest independent and assisted living.
My mom had a stroke in 2015 and I needed to move her from Ohio to be closer to me. Nancy helped me move her to assisted living and two months later mom was able to move into an independent apartment. With the help of LiveLongWellCare, she has been able to remain in her own apartment. Knowing she has personal care services and daily monitoring, has given me the peace of mind needed to spend time with my children and grandchildren who live out of town.In these critical times, I have been very impressed with the response to the threat of COVID 19. Administration and staff have been exceptional in educating and protecting residents, families and members with implementation of safety protocols in coordination with the local health department and CDC guidelines.
I am the primary caregiver for my brother and I could not be happier that he is at RidgeCrest. This is a well maintained and beautiful community. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There are numerous social events and excursions for those interested. Several folks come and provide music quite often and that's always a big hit. Two new cooks have recently been hired and the food is very tasty. Each week there are six rotating specials to choose from as well as regular items which are always on the menu. The apartments are very nice and well appointed. It is such a comfort for me to know he is in a very special place.
Ruth and I enjoyed visiting and having dinner with our friends at Ridgecrest over a couple of years. These visits led us to discuss revisiting the idea to make a move at a later time. Once an emergency accrued (broken or crushed leg bone), caused us to talk more seriously about a move immediately. Ruth, moved us to Ridgecrest while I was recovering at the hospital. We have come to appreciate and enjoy our new family and the excellent staff at Ridgecrest. It is rewarding to enjoy meeting our new friends in the club house and for dinner each evening. The only regret is what we did not plan for the move adequately. We miss our items we accumulated over our 63 years of marriage, such as, memories of travel, work and family, and etc. These items, many of them, were pricked up by the salvation army after selling our house in a week following our move.We are extremely happy with our decision to move to Ridgecrest and hope we have several more years to enjoy our new family and the staff at Ridegrest.Swanson and Ruth Richards.
After careful consideration of many communities we toured, my wife and I decided to move to Ridgecrest. Our first impression the moment we walked through the door was how friendly and genuinely happy the Members and Team Members are. We have lived at Ridgecrest for a little over a year and have not had one negative experience, not one. The culture of the leadership team and team members is extraordinary. It’s not often you find an organization that you witness daily efforts and emphasis on continuous improvement and ways to better serve the membership. I fell shortly after we moved in, and within two minutes, five people were in my apartment helping me up. We have the supportive services in one location that gives us the opportunity to live our lives as we wish without burdening our children. We feel safe and secure at Ridgecrest. We don’t have to worry about yard work or shoveling snow. We have consolidated our finances and pay one bill every month. The peace of mind that Independent Living at Ridgecrest has given us is immeasurable. We have made so many friends here and have a wonderful support system at our fingertips. The Social and Dining experiences are over the top and we often bring in guests to join us. We have various types of entertainment. We have made a family at Ridgecrest, and it is the best decision we could have ever made.
