FAQs
Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes for some apartments. I currently have some availability in a few styles.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
We have a staff of 14. Staff consists of executive director (oversees community as a whole), marketing director (facilitates tours and building public events), life engagement director (coordinates resident activities and entertainment), business manager (handles billing and daily resident services), 24/7 concierges, housekeeper, on-site maintenance team, server and transportation coordinator. Our community is “independent living” so we do not provide medical assistance or care. However, you may invite your favorite home health company or hire one of the many we recommend.
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
We have a fire escape plan with the two firehouses that respond to our property. Each apartment is equipped with smoke alarms, sprinklers and fireproof doors. Our corridors and hallways are also equipped with fireproof doors that close if the alarm is triggered. Side and courtyard entry doors are always locked (residents are given a key fob), the front main entry doors lock every night from dusk to dawn. Our dining room is enclosed with cement walls and metal doors to be a storm shelter.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
Yes, I am happy to connect you with companies that can help and destress your move!
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Yes, it is free and offered 3 days per week…Monday, Wednesday, Friday and can be to anywhere in Wichita city limits. Occasionally, we are able to accommodate travel to surrounding towns.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
Daily breakfast is available to you at no extra cost. Lunch is available M-F and can be enjoyed in our dining room or courtyard with friends or taken to your apartment. We are happy to deliver your meal without an additional fee. Dinner is available M-F and is room service style, brought to your front door. Lunch and dinner meals are a flat $10 per meal. We won’t sell you an expensive meal package or ask you to keep track of a confusing point system. Also, your apartment will have a full kitchen with standard sized appliances to prepare meals.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
We have an “open door” policy. We want residents to express concern and know that they can communicate anything to staff. You would meet with our executive director to find a solution. It is genuinely our #1 priority that our residents enjoy living here and thrive! The culture we aim for is vibrant, lively and friendly.
What is the cost of living in your community?
It ranges depending on what size of apartment you desire and how many ala carte amenities you choose.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We actively post in our Facebook page (with resident permission) for family members to see how their loved one is doing. We also welcome any family or friends to join in on activities, meals, or entertainment. Residents are permitted to have company stay with them as well. At move in, we capture emergency contact information should something ever happen.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
Absolutely! We love furry friends. Residents can have up to 2 pets, lap size or smaller. We have paved walking paths with pet clean up stations and benches along.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Yes. We offer routine vaccination clinics in addition to other wellness programs we offer at the building.
Are residents able to age in place?
Yes! I currently have a deluxe studio available
