Do you guys currently have a waitlist?
Yes, we have a waitlist for our apartments at Our Lady of Life.
Could you provide an overview of the types of professionals on your staff and the training they undergo at your facility?
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents?
There are pull cords in the bathrooms and bedrooms and a daily check.
Do you offer any resources or support services to aid residents' transition into the community?
We have a welcoming committee that helps acclimate them to the community.
Do you offer transportation services for residents?
Transportation is offered for scheduled outings i.e. – Walgreens, grocery stores, bank, and events around St Louis.
Could you tell me a little about your dining experience?
We offer 2 meals a day – Lunch and dinner. Brunch is offered on Sunday. One meal is included in the rent.
What is the process that takes place if a resident has a complaint or an issue they want addressed?
They would bring their complaints to the administrator of the building.
What is the cost of living in your community?
I have attached the pricing to this email.
What is your policy on communication with resident's families? How do you keep them updated about their loved ones' well-being?
We have emergency contact information on each resident and if something happens to the resident then we reach out to the family. This is an independent living facility with no nursing on staff.
Do you all offer short-term or respite stays? How much does this cost?
We do not offer respite stays in our independent living – we do in our assisted living.
Are you all a pet-friendly community?
No, we do not allow pets in any of our levels of care. We do allow family members to bring their pets for a visit.
Are residents able to get Covid vaccination and flu vaccinations in the community?
Are residents able to age in place?
We are a continuum of care community with a LTC community. Yes, we have a waitlist for our apartments at Our Lady of Life.
