Welcome to Our Independent Living Community
Well, I’m grateful for your questions. I will do my best to answer them. Keep in mind please that I represent the independent living aspect of our community. Independent living means that you are cleaning your own house, making your own meals, arranging your own transportation, paying your own bills. Of course, we embrace Aging in Place.
Today there are many resources that folks can take advantage of… Home health, DoorDash, cleaning services etc. Additionally, we are surveyed by the state of Indiana and keep up with all the professional training, education and requirements for all staff.
Our Community Services
Our community is the full continuum of care so we do have licensed nurses on our healthcare units and our assisted-living units. We have five activity directors. We have a social services department and many qualified nurse assistants.
Vaccines and immunizations are available on our campus. We have call buttons in place. Our campus does have security and we are located directly across the street from Johnson Memorial Hospital and the sheriff's department.
Transitioning and Care Options
For transitioning into our community we offer a very effective shepherding program. We offer respite care for a minimum of five days and as long as someone would like. We also offer rehab … outpatient and in-house.
Pricing and Accommodations
The pricing on our community depends on so many things but I’d be happy to be more transparent if you could tell me what level of care you would be most interested in. Independent living? Assisted living?
We have independent living homes and apartments that are licensed for both independent living and assisted living. We have studio apartments, one bedroom apartments, and two bedroom apartments. None of our apartments have washers and dryers but we do have a laundry facility available that is no charge. All of our apartments have kitchenettes.
Dining Options
We offer meal plans one, two, three meals a day. We have a Bistro, a pizza oven, a traditional restaurant, and a hibachi grill. Our restaurants have recently been updated and I think they are remarkable!
Pet Policy and Waitlist
We are pet friendly in some aspects of our community and we do have a waitlist for some parts of our community.
Communication and Family Involvement
Communication with family is dependent upon the resident. Some residents prefer no communication while others prefer transparency. We will work with you.
