Independent Living Community Overview
We are an independent living community. Are you looking for assisted living? Some of your questions sound as if you may be desiring more levels of care.
Since we are independent living, we do not have nurses on our staff. If a resident needs to add home health services, they can add services through Interim Home Health. Interim has medical staff in and out of our building daily if you need to add home health or private duty services such as medication management, daily check-in’s, physical therapy, etc.
Since we are independent living, we do not offer any short-term or respite stay – this would be more available in assisted living.
Meals and Amenities
Meals included: Monday through Friday-Continental Breakfast and Dinner, Saturday-Lunch, and Sunday-Brunch. All apartments have a full kitchen with all the appliances. Continental breakfast is self-serve but we always have a dining staff available to assist. Dinner service Monday through Friday, Lunch on Saturday and Brunch on Sunday is a sit down atmosphere with a waitress in our dining room.
We do bring in HyVee Pharmacy to provide Covid, Shingles and Flu vaccinations. We also bring in a Podiatrist on a regular basis.
Availability and Management
We are working with a wait list on some units.
Our Executive Director is available for residents to voice any concerns, answer questions, share positive feedback, or discuss complaints.
