Availability and Housing Options
No, we do not have a waitlist. We have studio, one bedroom, and two-bedroom units available in Assisted Living and Shared studios in Memory Care.
Professional Staff and Training
We have 24hr care staff – med techs and caregivers. Our Community Nurse is both in-house and on call after hours. The Resident Services Director and RSD Assistant, are Home Care Aid/Certified Nursing Assistants so at any given time, they are able to assist with care provision if needed.
Safety and Well-being Measures
During move-in, each resident is provided with a pendant that they use to communicate with the care team in case they need assistance. Each care staff has a pager that helps them monitor the pendant alert during their shifts. We also have safety checks that are put in place – Dependent on nursing assessment – this helps us keep our eyes on the resident throughout the day and night.
Transition Support Services
Our activities directors in both Assisted Living and Memory Village curate monthly and daily activities for the residents. This helps incoming and current residents get to know each other and bond on a community level. The care staff is also trained to provide care for new residents – guided by our new move-in protocol.
Transportation Services
Yes, we do have scheduled transportation for appointments as well as bank runs or shopping. This is facilitated by the activities department.

Review Summary
The following is an AI generated summary of the reviews of the community from across the web.
Normandy Park Senior Living receives mixed reviews from visitors and family members of residents. Many commend the staff for their kindness, compassion, and friendliness, highlighting the care and attention given to residents. The facility is praised for its cleanliness, well-kept environment, and amenities such as a fitness center, movie room, dining room, and a large garden area. Activities, including bingo, puzzles, and community walks, are available, with efforts made to engage residents even during challenging times like the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, concerns are raised regarding the quality of food, with some describing it as low quality and not up to the standard expected for the cost. Staff turnover is mentioned as an issue affecting the consistency of care and the ability to form bonds. The facility's approach to accommodating wheelchair users and those with mobility issues is criticized, with suggestions for larger walk-in showers and better accessibility features. Some reviews express dissatisfaction with the level of activities offered and the communication about these activities to both residents and their families.
There are also serious concerns raised about management, staff shortages, and the overall treatment of residents. Some reviews describe negative experiences with staff responsiveness and the quality of care, urging potential residents and their families to conduct thorough research before choosing Normandy Park Senior Living.
Despite these criticisms, some families report very positive experiences, noting the effort made to keep residents engaged, the secure environment, and the value for cost. The proximity to hospitals, pharmacies, and the availability of parking are also seen as advantages. The community's efforts to adapt to COVID-19 restrictions and maintain a level of activity for residents are acknowledged and appreciated.
In summary, while Normandy Park Senior Living has many supporters who highlight the caring staff and good facilities, there are significant concerns about food quality, staff turnover, and management that potential residents and their families should consider.
