Administration doesn't care about the families of the patient. Very unprofessional. I know it's a business for profit, but I don't think Mr. Hubbard would approve of the way it is run. They also need to hire more staff. As for my family and I, we were treated horrible by administration!
I am the administrator at New Albany Health and Rehab. I worked there for over 8 years as the social worker and have come back to the facility and community I love. Are we perfect? No. Do I want to be? YES! My goal is to care for those entrusted to us as if they are my most beloved.I hope if you are considering a nursing facility for yourself or your loved one, you would come by and talk to us. There have been so many changes in the past year since I became administrator and my dear friend, Jeri, came on board as the director of nursing. Our company is wonderful and empowers us to provide what is needed for those we care for, this also includes staffing at a 5 star level per CMS guidelines. We are also currently doing major renovations and this will be ongoing over the next year.I encourage you to determine for yourself whether we are the right fit for your circumstance. We will always put those we serve first!Jessica Damstra
This is one of the poorest facilities I have ever been too. They take know pride in their job. Also, the assisted living area is pretty much forgotten about. They have left patients on the floor due to the fact no one checks on them. Also, bedbugs have been reported on numerous occasions and all they do is come in and change the bed sheets and pretty much tell everyone it was a random one.. This facility needs a complete turn over in staffing. Cna's let people who are clearly soaked through their clothes walk around like that. They already failed when state came in before and now they have them pop back up so can't be bothered with bed bug infestation so that they don't get in trouble for that as well. So, instead the aide that reported it was terminated cause they said the aide lied about the bed bugs. Then what's this crawling on patients floor in broad daylight? Pretty sure they have a problem considering that was 3rd adult bed bug found. I wouldn't let my family member stay in this facility ever.
