Years ago, my mother-in-law stayed at your facility post hospitalization, her care was exemplary. I know since then, you have added innovative programs to keep the longer term residents simulated and healthy. And now, you have provided compassionate assistance in support of the homeless community via the Showers Now. Not Later Shower Truck. Wow, you've scored the trifecta of compassion. Thank you.
I have had a few elderly neighbors stay here over the years. One of them for just a short stay and the others for longer stays or had moved in there. Each time I went to visit I found their accommodations to be professional, friendly and the care specialized to each resident, and you can tell the people are truly invested in the care of the residents. I was also invited to stay for lunch a few times. It was good, but fairly average as long-term and skilled nursing care facilities go.They have a dedicated room for physical therapy and will be honest with their assessments for future and appropriate placement in one of their specialized wings. I observed one neighbor in the PT room and the staff was very friendly, yet serious about the help they were providing. Sadly, one of my neighbors passed away there and she had said if she had to end up somewhere other than her home, it would be at Mt. Baker Care Center.
Visited my mother in the care center this past week where she is recovering from a knee surgery with complications. Found it to be an exceptional facility. Very clean, the patients are well cared for with the appropriate amount of attention (no shelving of the elderly there!), she likes the food, and the staff really seem to get to know the patients as people which is much appreciated by me. I was nervous about my mom being in a care center because you hear so many bad stories, but after visiting without notice several times at different times of the day, I feel confident that the care is consistently good. Thank you so much!
People who really care! I wouldn't trust anyone else with my loved ones. I have visited many other skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, and this is by far the best one I have seen. The facility is clean and comfortable and they are constantly improving. Amenities include spacious private rooms. Nice common areas and friendly people.
The food at Mt. Baker is amazing. My mom may never leave. The staff are all fantastic. There is no such thing as "that is not my job" everyone is so helpful. The rehab is state of the art. The place is so clean and tidy. Thanks so much for taking care of my mom, Aly--she just loves this facility.
