Overview of Staff and Training
Our facility is staffed with two nurses, while the rest of our team undergoes comprehensive MorningStar training to ensure the highest level of care and expertise.
Safety and Well-being Measures
To ensure the safety and well-being of our residents, we have implemented several measures including a secure memory care unit, alarmed doors, a daily call system for Independent Living (IL) residents, and surveillance cameras at all first-level entry points.
Transition Support Services
To aid residents' transition into our community, we assign a resident ambassador to accompany new residents to meals and invite them to activities, fostering a welcoming environment.
Transportation Services
We offer transportation services for our residents from Monday through Friday, facilitating their mobility and independence.
Dining Experience
Our dining experience is restaurant-style, with breakfast served from 7:30 AM to 9 AM. The dining room then reopens from 11 AM to 6 PM, offering flexible dining hours.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
The process for addressing complaints varies by living arrangement. IL residents typically start with the marketing team, then the Executive Director (ED), while Assisted Living (AL) and Memory Care (MC) residents go through their coordinators, then nurses, and finally the ED. An Ombudsman is involved when necessary.
Communication with Residents' Families
We maintain open communication with residents' families, informing them of any changes in condition. AL service plans are evaluated every six months and MC quarterly. Staff will also call in case of emergencies or if a resident is taken to the ER.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We offer short-term or respite stays starting at $225 a day with a minimum stay of 21 days.
Pet-Friendly Community
Our community is pet-friendly, welcoming residents and their beloved pets.
Waitlist Information
Currently, there is a waitlist for our Memory Care (MC) unit, while we have openings in Assisted Living (AL).
Vaccination Services
Residents are able to receive Covid and flu vaccinations within the community, ensuring their health and safety.
Aging in Place
Residents are able to age in place. However, those in Independent Living (IL) may need to transition to Assisted Living (AL) or Memory Care (MC) as their care needs evolve.
