On-Site Healthcare and Personal Assistance
We do have on-site primary care providers as well as physical therapy, speech, and OT. All that goes through insurance. Some of our residents are very independent while others need assistance with several activities of daily living. So, we provide a response system for all residents. Some receive various levels of care and can get help with bathing, dressing, toileting, etc. We also check on residents regularly.
Transportation and Activities
We do offer transportation services for doctor's appointments and also take residents on a variety of fun outings. We do allow small pets if the resident is able to care for them.
Cost of Living and Amenities
The cost of living depends on the apartment style and how much help the resident needs. The cost starts at $4100 and can go up from there depending on the apartment and the level of care. Levels of care are flexible, of course, depending on changing needs. All residents get 3 meals a day and snacks included. Our food is very good and served to them in one of our dining rooms. Housekeeping and activities are included as well.
Feedback and Communication
Fortunately, we don't receive a lot of complaints, but residents and their families are always welcome to take concerns to our Executive Director or Director of Nursing. If it were to require additional input, we have an amazing team at our corporate office to help.
We collect resident contact information when someone moves in and try to follow that chain when something needs to be communicated.
Short-Term Stays and Waitlist
We have offered short-term and respites stays in the past, based on availability. I do not have any availability right now but could reach out to a sister community. We do often have a waitlist but timing can vary based on the type of apartment you may be interested in and resident's needs.
