I was a patient here when i was 13 nd they wouldn't let me call or see my parents at all i was in there for 12 months until i gt to see my mom nd the staff are harsh really if u have a bad attitude like me they might put there hands on u dont go here its very underrated place is like hell surrounded u
So far my 11 year old has been here since 8/21/20.I can't really relate to the other reviews. The staff has always been VERY respectful to me. Much nicer then these people in Chicago. They are very well mannered. They always have returned my calls in a very timely manner. My daughter seems to be happy overall. She has been aggressive a few times, and I never feel like they have unrealistic discipline.I also do like that they offer zoom for family therapy. It is much nicer to see people in person. This is coming from a very INVOLVED parent, who has had to move mountains to get her help. She is diagnosed with, oppositional defiant disorder, intermittent explosive disorder, ADHD, and concerned because she lacks remorse. So out of all the hospitals and facilities we have been through for the last 6 years, I m satisfied overall
I’m going to be honest with you this facility is more of a place for children who’s parents want to get them out of their face and forget about them .or dhs kids who have no one .if u don’t care what happpens to your kid and don’t really care about keeping in touch with them after care this is the perfect place ..many of the MHPPs have NO experience with traumatized children ..
