My aunt was here for not even a week. They mistreated her, withheld her meds, never cleaned her or dressed her. They were mean to her and she coded and they didn't even call my mother who is the DPOA and takes care of her!! My aunt cried and cried and they never let her call my mom or anybody. My mom would call and they would say they couldn't transfer her or that my aunt was sleeping. They were just so unprofessional! My aunt came back so filthy and covered in her own feces with the same clothes they took her in! This place is horrible and needs to be shut down!
This place is barely fit for an animal. My mom was here for a short period of time and we could not get her out fast enough. The place is understaffed and dirty. The bathrooms for the residents were beyond disgusting. While visiting we often had to chase down staff to let them know a resident had fallen or soiled themselves. Day 2, they lost my mom's denture. They initially took full responsibility. They told us to take her to a dentist to have it replaced, which we did. When they received the bill, they refused to pay. Their administrator/office person is demanding I go there personally to discuss my mother's dentures with him. Not sure what there is to discuss, since I'm not a dentist. Extremely unprofessional. The social worker stated it is normal procedure to replace lost dentures and doesn't know why this administrator is refusing to pay after we followed their instructions to replace the denture. The last day my mother was at this facility, one of the residents wandered into her room, fell and bled on the floor. That puddle of blood was there long enough to partially dry. When we asked a staff member to have it cleaned up, they told us they were aware of the puddle of blood but were waiting for housekeeping to clean it up. This is the most dismal depressing SNF I've ever seen. Not a good place for a loved one.
