Our Family and Parents love living at Maplewood, the staff there are so wonderful and always willing to help. It was a rough transition in the beginning , my parents going from our childhood home, but they actually adjusted better than we had thought. The community was extremely helpful in supporting not only my parents, but me and my brothers and sister as we made this move. You will not be disappointed in the level of professionalism as well as the welcoming smiles we receive from all of the staff members. Thank you again for everything.
Maplewood at Orange has been amazing in the care for my parents. Even through Covid19 they were so wonderful, responsive and attentive to my parents and our family. We have a large family of siblings and everyone of us feel the same way about the people at Maplewood at Orange. We are forever grateful to the nursing staff, the housekeeping staff and the administration as well as the entire f this community.
Patrick O'Sullivan5 / 5 starsMy relative has been at Maplewood at Orange for a number of years. From the 1st interview and the application process, we felt like family. My schedule allows much flexibility so I visit nearly every day at all different times and I have observed all the staff's interactions with resident as warm, caring and compassionate. The entire Maplewood building is spotless. The dining room is like a 4 star restaurant. Daily activities and games are structured and the staff are outstanding with the residents.
Maplewood staff are incredible. The staff and the facility are top class. I didn't know anything about assisted living communities, and having a short time to make a decision, thought that they would mostly all be the same. This is NOT true. I have learned that some places struggle with quality of staff, process, oversight, and even the physical accommodations. Maplewood at Orange is amazing! My family is consistently happy with the services. And, most importantly, my mother wakes up each day loving where she lives. That's priceless.
The staff and management couldn’t be more wonderful . My mother has lived here for many years and we have been so satisfied and blessed with the care she is in. The executive director truly cares and it shows from the top down to all of the staff. This is by far the best place For my family and many others.
When I think of Maplewood, I think about the people who work there and why they work there. And I think about what makes a person's life worthwhile. I think it is to make a difference in other peoples's lives; a positive influence; empathy for others. Those are the qualities Currents' staff have bestowed on me and I am not their primary customer---the residents are. Every day, every hour, they reach out and touch the fragile and lost souls. with kindness and without judgement. These people are fulfilling worthwhile lives and making a difference.
My Parents have lived here for years, it is by far the best place for them to be. The staff and residents are really special people. Everyone knows you! It is truly a real community and I am proud to call it home for my parents. The management team to the dining staff and of course care staff are amazing.Thank you to all of you at maple wood at Orange.
After two years, i am convinced this is the best Assisted Living/memory care unit in the US. Every nurse, all the Certified Nursing Assistants and House cleaning Staff are on a first name basis with the patients.Patients are cared for with love and attention to every detail. When I leave there I am comfortable that my love one is receiving the best.
My parents have been residents of Maplewood at Orange since last October. They're in the highest level of memory care because of their memory loss. The care they get is like loving family members are taking care of them. I could not have found a better place for them. They've made such nice friends there. They have their own living room and bedroom for their privacy. I bring one or more grandkids at least once a week and the grandkids love to go. It is like visiting them at home, only better. The staff and other residents love to see them, and the kids love all the attention. All the staff are wonderful. We are always greeted with a smile and kind word. It is so obvious the jobs they are doing is their calling. I can sleep at night knowing they are safe.
Review of Maplewoods, Orange, CT.The decision to move to a senior residency can be difficult. There are many things to consider when making that decision, but the most important consideration is staffing. Kind, knowledgeable and responsive staff are key to a successful experience. Maplewoods staff: housekeepers, maintenance, nurses, receptionists, aides, cooks, dining staff, care coordinators, and directors are skilled in making Maplewood residents feel comfortable and at home. There are many reasons for choosing Maplewoods of Orange for my mother, but the one that stands above the rest is the way she is treated. When I hear staff addressing my mom just as her grandchildren do, “Hi Mama”, I know Maplewoods is the place for her.
