Maple Springs is a phenomenal facility. I have been impressed from the moment I started working here. The cares provided by the nursing staff, CNA’s, management, and therapy are outstanding. Everyone is friendly, compassionate, and willing to go the extra mile to provide the best care to the residents. The food is incredible and the activity staff provide a variety of activities to keep the residents entertained and enjoying their stay.
I have worked here for over 2 years (on two separate occasions) and I have to say it is the best facility I have worked at. I have been a CNA for a long time and worked in multiple facilities and this place is great. The staff do an excellent job of taking care of the residents. I wouldn't hesitate to put a loved one in Maple Springs.
Maple Springs of NL is the best Skilled Nursing, Long-term care, memory care AND Assisted Living option in Cache Valley. It's also the only 5 star rated! The nursing/CNA staff are caring and hard working. They connect personally with and truly love the residents. The therapists (PT/OT/ST) are great and very consistent. The food is excellent and they make any modification needed to serve a specific need or request. The activities and rec therapy are outstanding!! Even during Covid!
Working at Maple Springs has been one of the best choices I’ve made. I love the atmosphere here. It’s a place of working together to serve the residents and coworkers to the best of our abilities. I love that I can go to work everyday knowing that I can make a difference by serving others! It is a well managed facility, loving atmosphere, and also challenges me everyday to grow and be a better person!
My grandma lived here for a few years. The staff was always very kind and loving to her. We enjoyed going to visit her and my children also liked the soft-serve ice cream. My grandma also enjoyed attending church there every Sunday. Thank you for taking such good care of my grandma!
Maple Springs provides superior, highly skilled physical rehabilitation services on a residential and home care basis. The facility is warm, extremely well kept and smells good! Management assisted my family work out reimbursement with a very challenging secondary insurance company. As a health professional myself, I highly recommend their fine work!
Clean, professional, most comfortable living space Cache Valley has to offer. Having worked here for almost a year as a CNA, I would recommend Maple Springs of North Logan to anyone. Great administrators, therapists, nurses, and CNAs who truly care about the quality of residents’ lives.
My 91 year old father loved it at Maple Springs. They watched over him so well. He felt cared for and expressed that the staff seemed to love their jobs. I was concerned about his foot and before I got back from the nursing station they were there checking on him. I'm forever grateful for Maple Springs staff. Administration, CNA"s, Cleaning crew, Food Crew as well as the lovely and talented Physical Therapy crew. Clay Boyd says "Hi!"
Who's this Maddy chick and why is she so entitled? Seriously, like she just sits around on her phone and rudely orders her coworkers around while she does nothing. As family of a resident, I am extremely uncomfortable with staff like her taking care of my loved one. And it's actually a ton of the staff here. They're all so immature and lazy.
My grandmother spent the last year and a half at Maple Springs before she passed at 103 with severe dementia that came on quickly. We were there 2 to 3 times a week for activities and sometimes more. We had many interactions with the staff and ate many meals. My grandmother's needs were well taken care of even when she didn't remember things were taken care of and had staff call us. They helped her around to the activities and invited her to many more. There was always something to do from games to music and smoothies. When she broke her hip they helped her get comfortable and worked well with hospice. In the end, everything went smoothly. I could tell that they enjoyed my grandmother's personality and actually cared for her.
I am frequently at the facility and I can tell you that the staff are very kind and thoughtful with the residents. The residents I see regularly at the facility are happy and love the staff, activities and other residents. The staff are always doing their best to make the resident's home life at Maple Springs the best it can be.
My husband had fallen and broke his hip. The staff, nurses and CNA’s are so loving and caring. They have a chief who prepares amazing meals! Let me tell you! They have all kinds of drinks and snacks 24/7. This place is like a 5 star hotel. The PT are the best therapists in the nation. They have the best equiptment. The have a movie theater, art room for painting with a kiln. This place has beautiful art work and a library. They have recreational therapist and a van to take people on trips. My husband does not even want to go home it has been so great. Thank you Maple Springs!!
This is very long...please read.June 15, 2018Angie SandersMaple Springs of North Logan350 E 2200 NNorth Logan, UT 84341Dear Angie Sanders,I’d like to relate my observations of my mother’s treatment, and my own experiences with Maple Springs of NoLo as she passed her Year anniversary in the Memory Care facility, sometimes known as the “Lighthouse.”I relocated my mother to Maple Springs from another very nice MC unit at a nearby Home. At that time, I was impressed with the beautiful facility, continuity of service provided, and the very deep experience of all staff, from the Director, to Administration, to Registered Nursing and CNA staff. I have been through this experience before with other family members, but there was FINALLY an institution where my mother could receive excellent and personalized care, and facilities that are encouraging and comfortable for visitors. I think everyone agrees the facility has only become more beautiful, and home-like during this year. Probably more important to my mother’s ongoing care is the continuity of Senior Staff and Administration, and Registered Nursing staff, as well as the incredible abilities and attitudes of the CNA’s, many who are working toward bachelor’s degrees, as well as others who remain with deep experience. The CNAs are not “kids,” but each of them articulates caring personalities, and appear happy with their positions. There is no pleasant way to describe the progression of Dementia. I have watched my mom’s experiences over the past 8 to 10 years, and like many others, believed that she would stay in her home until her demise. For years, I would interrupt business trips, and cancel social engagements when “episodes” became apparent. I didn’t realize what was happening to this beautiful and kind woman. I even spent nights at her home, when I realized Wandering during the night had become a primary danger. Did I wish to honor the idea of keeping her in her own home, or did I instead want her golden years to be survived; a dilemma. Now that she has been in Memory Care units for several years, with the past year at Maple Springs of NoLo, my decision has proved correct. In addition to medical care, there are several VERY important things she is included in:• Professional medical care, including all services that can be provided in house by Registered Nursing staff, namely, Blood work.• Immediate contact with me where there is any possibility of a reportable incident; fall, illness, etc.• Timely referral to her Primary Care Physician, as needed• LDS Church services and partaking of the Sacrament• Weekly “dinner” at the Restaurant with others, including an important family friend. I can’t stress enough how important the weekly restaurant experience becomes as her world shrinks.• Hourly activities and schedules posted on monthly calendars. I appreciate that she has physical and social activities scheduled daily to keep her body and mind fit for the duration.• CLEAN facilities. There is no unpleasant odor anywhere. Every surface is clean and there is no masking scent. New visitors are surprised that there is no “smell.”• 24/7. The service level is all day/every day. I rudely enter through the parking lot door adjacent to my mom’s room at any time. Its not a ploy. I know that no matter what time I stop by, my mom, and everyone in Memory Care is never going to be delivering anything but superior service. It is very comforting. I issue a blanket apology for using this door, but I don’t want to disturb others, or I am carrying something, often our dog!• Friends. My mom has been placed with others and encouraged to develop friendships with other residents, and staff. This is certainly the best No Judgement zone.Absolutely none of this would have been fathomable with in-home care period, or care at other local facilities, period. That is all!Michael E Moser
