Introduction
These are great questions! I will do my best to answer these via email but many of them are better explained over the phone for detail when I know a little bit more about what you may be looking for. I see that you are emailing from hello caring plan. Is this a company you work with?
Professional Staff and Training
Our professionals range from caregivers through RNs as well as servers to trained chefs, and housekeepers to maintenance directors. Our community spans a wealth of professionals to care for our seniors at our community. Training at our community includes state mandated training during our onboarding process as well as routine training throughout the year in various departments.
Safety and Well-being Measures
Could you tell me about the measures you have in place to ensure the safety and well-being of your residents? Could you give me more insight in what form you are looking for in safety? There are several components to ensuring a resident’s safety and well-being. I can better understand this question if you could give an example on a specific concern.
Transition Support Services
Our residents formed a welcoming committee that connects with new residents over their first few weeks at the community. Directors of our team will also ensure all move ins are acquainted with who they are as well as what they do for the community.
Transportation Services
We do. On Tuesday and Thursdays we offer Dr. visits on a first come first serve basis and remainder days can include outings which are voted on by our residents. These vary from shopping, lunches out, shows, art museums, etc.
Dining Experience
We have an open restaurant from 7 am to 6 pm daily. Residents may enjoy restaurant style service anytime between those hours. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner all have menus approved by our licensed dietician which are served at designated times throughout the day. In between times of those specials, our always available menu will be offered. Residents may also pick up their meals for takeout to their apartment or have room service delivered.
Addressing Complaints and Issues
Residents receive direct numbers and emails to all directors in the community upon contract signing in the new resident handbook. They may call, email, set up a time for meeting with any director to go over any complaints, concerns, or questions.
Cost of Living
This will vary depending on apartment size and location a resident lives in. Are you looking for specific sized apartment, or memory care?
Communication with Resident's Families
Communication will be resident to resident based. When we complete assessments and complete a residency agreement, residents and/or their power of attorney will be able to communicate their wishes with our team.
Short-term or Respite Stays
We do offer respite stays from 2 weeks to 2 months in a furnished apartment. These rates will depend on the length of stay at the community. Are you looking for respite options?
Pet-Friendly Community
Residents may have small pets at our community on an approved basis. There is a maximum of two for each apartment. Does your loved one have a pet?
Waitlist Information
We do have a waitlist for several floorplans currently. Is there a size you were specifically looking for? I can better answer your question if you could share a little more with what you may be looking for, for your loved one.
Covid and Flu Vaccinations
We offer clinics typically in the early fall for our residents.
Aging in Place
Residents may age in place at our community to the extent of our state regulations. There are a few guidelines that would cause a resident to need a higher level of care than our community can provide. I can over these over the phone if you’d like, as typically these concerns differ resident to resident.
