To start the Lionel Harris review is fake because he is management at Lofland and had never had a family member there. Lionel wears shorts and slides to show how professional he is at work. Every time I go by Lofland I see the same staff outside smoking. Lofland hired a nurse that was on probation for substance abuse. Lofland hired another nurse that was blamed for the death of an inmate. Is this the kind of people you want taking care of your love ones when they are vulnerable?
Our Mom has been there for almost a year now. It has been really tough with Covid and the staff have been working over time to see to her needs and to keep up communications with us. It takes the staff extra effort to do visits and they have been doing an outstanding job under difficult circumstances. Our mother seems healthy and well taken care of.
Thank you Lofland Park staff for keeping staff and residents safe during the Covid Crisis. Even though I could not visit, I always was aware of what was happening through the family calls. There were Zoom calls and window visits that will always be remembered through that tough time. Thank you to Lofland Park's staff of heroes!
I love how the staff call Mom “Miss Lois” & tease her about small things she does or says. They seem more like a family than a nursing home. The managers often work the weekends so that we can visit Mom. They are understaffed but don’t want us to miss out with are time with her.
Our Mom has been at Lofland Park during the worse of the Pandemic... and we felt completely comfortable. The staff have become her ' Family ' for now...and it's GREAT. The staff went out of their way to keep lines of communication open, Covid testing was done continuously, they followed the rules set forth by the state & corporate for the safety of staff & patients. Was disappointing not to get as much contact as we wanted with Mom, but understood her safety / health is the most important. The staff kept us updated, they took our calls. Answered our emails and made such a effort considering the situation. For Mom's birthday, they went above & beyond to help us make it special while still staying safe. The plan activities with the residents to bring some normalcy to Mom's day. We send little items in to brighten Mom's room...they get them right to her & set them up. It is difficult to make the decision to place a loved one in a Nursing Home.... the staff of Lofland Park have made it much easier and stress-free for our family. From Miss.Angel in the business office, to Miss Tawnya, Miss Onna, Miss Bonnie, Miss Beverly in Administration and all the unit nurses & staff... they have been WONDERFUL !!
Lisa Richards is outstanding! Lisa is professional, customer focused, with a genuine kindness. Her years of experience and positive attitude make Lofland Park #1. Lisa's focus on in-house and community relations is what sets her apart from others. Lisa is always willing to lend a hand and recreate the wheel if needed. Thanks you Lisa for all you contribute to this organization.
