Not even interested in dealing with this center. The first thing I was asked was whether or not I could get the last three and a half months of bank statements to them...not what are the concerns regarding my family member's health. I completely understand that everyone needs to make money, but come on; at least make some pretense about being concerned about a person's health.
I get to work day in and day out with this amazing team! We are more than co-workers, we are family. We had a co-worker who was walking to and from work daily, regardless of the weather, very dedicated guy. The other co-workers took up a donation and bought him a bike. I wish you could have seen his face when when they called him up front to the nurses station where everyone gathered to surprise him with this bike! Priceless!!!! We really are a family at Legacy.
I have been in long term care for over 45 years. I am currently the regional nurse at Legacy. I interact with staff and residents on a regular basis. The staff at this facility are very caring and truly love their residents. The administrator Rick and Director of Nursing Lanelle are very responsive to residents and family. They are often in the building on weekends. The residents I have spoken to love where they live. They have nothing bad to say about care or staff. I would put my family member in this facility without hesitation.
I have worked in the health field for 12 years now all in long term care ! I have worked in awesome places and down right horrible places , and legacy is not just a great place to work but has become a family to me ! I haven’t worked anywhere that I have confidence that not only my director of nurses but my administrator has my back ! Of course only if I am doing the right things for the right reasons ! Recently I had a house fire and I lost everything , by the next day my director of nurses was calling to check on me and ask me to come in for a few minutes ! When I was able to go in they hugged me and gave donations that everyone got together and tried not to make a big deal out of it ! ! As a stubborn person I try not to ask for anything especially when it’s taking away from their own family at the times of the holidays ! These donations came from the lowest positions all the way up to corporate ! I have found I am the happiest at legacy health and rehab and am sure you will love it also !!!
I am from out of state, but my dad is a resident here. I flew in from California to visit my dad and couldn’t be happier with the staff and care my dad receives. The administrator has been super helpful with all my questions concerning my dad. All the staff are very friendly as well saying hello to me every time I come in, saying good things about my dad (even though I know he can be difficult sometimes, hahaha). So thank you to all the staff for taking care of my dad!
I have a family member that resides here and I have never seen a more relaxed and happy atmosphere. The administration and nursing Dept especially the charged nurse Rhonda on second shift is a natural and she gets my family member to take their medicine with no hesitation. She Isan amazing LPN. This facility is Clean and the residents seem very happy.
