My grandparents have been involved with this group for over 14 years and it seems to have served them well. They went from the townhomes to independent living to skilled nursing, and I don't personally care for the food, but my grandmother likes it.And to my judgement, they are cared for as well as I would hope to be cared for, myself.
No communication between staff. Soiled with feces clothing left in bathroom and clothes bucket for 3 days. No battery or dead batteries in hearing aids when pointed out I waited 1 1/h then asked someone els not the first time this has happened. Waited 20 min after call button was pushed for a trip to restroom. Finally did it myself. Bun, regular water, and regular cofee while waiting on swallow study. Suppose to have necture and no bread. Some staff will "discipline" a patient in a stern voice as if talking to a child. My loved one fell and broke her tailbone and arm. Legs left down while in room. My loved one has pitting edema and needs elevation. Some staff know these things others don't bc they aren't recorded in nursing notes. The biggest problems are lack of staff and no communication between staff. My loved one has only been there for 6 weeks and trying to get her out ASAP.
