Management is the worst here than I have even seen in my entire career. Hateful, biased, out of touch ignorant DON who has no respect for the good employees. This place was pretty decent until a few years ago when the parent company placed their own brand of "adminstration" in place and it has been downhill ever since. The current DON is a nasty, hateful, out of touch curmudgeon who has no respect for the hard working staff members. Instead she rewards the lazy, ignorant and just plain stupid staff members and rains down hate on the hard working staff that is otherwise respected by the residents and decent staff. Her and her other incompetent fellow Lakeport Square exiles have turned this place into yet another refuge for the flotsom and jetsom of Lake County. If you are lazy and ignorant and enjoy cussing out your coworkers, laying on the floor while playing on your cell phone while everyone else does your work for you AND get away with it scott-free then this place is for you. The majority of the staff and residents are wonderful. It only take a couple to ruin it for everyone else.
Retirement Counselor, Michelle Connolly, spent a good amount of time sharing the positives of this continuous care community with us. Different types of housing were shown to us. We are going to move into a Lakeview Terrace villa very soon!!! Meals were terrific and the menu extensive....and included in the monthly fee along with many amenities and special programs.Looking forward to a new phase of our daily lives.
