For over 100 years, the Katzman Family Center for Living, the flagship property of Chelsea Jewish Lifecare has cared for individuals with compassion, dignity and respect. Founded in 1919 by Lena Goldberg, the original goal of Katzman Family Center for Living was to create a welcoming home for neighboring elders.
The Katzman Family Center for Living has consistently received the Five-Star Quality Rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This designation reflects the highest number of stars allotted to a skilled nursing facility.
Today, the concept has come full circle. We offer the highest quality of care to all our residents and families through the dedicated efforts of our specially trained staff members. Our mission is to provide exceptional skilled nursing care in a warm and inviting setting. Recently the Katzman Family Center for Living underwent a dramatic $16 million renovation.
