My mother was a resident her for several years. I have nothing but positive reves, reviews and comments about the staff, housekeeping, maintenance, activities, and food services. They all made my mother feel as if she was at home with a staff to wait on her specifically. I speak of them as often as I can when I find out people are have issues with other facilities or with the loved ones who need special care. Truly an awesome place. Stop by and take a look for yourself.
My Dad was admitted middle of December, 2018, from Ivy Springs Manor, in Buford, who was not licensed to serve his condition, unable to maneuver by himself. Staff was great, I would give them 5 Stars and took care of Dad who was already on Hospice Care when moved in. We paid for the full month of January in advance per the contract but lost Dad on Thursday January 3, 2019. We were told if we cleaned out his room we would be eligible for a partial refund of the months fee so we made sure everything was out and the room was satisfactory on Saturday, January 5, 2019. 60 Days was the time frame given me for the refund. I have spoken to the Business Mgr several times who is talking with Corporate who now tells me, although it has been over 90 days, that they cannot tell me when or if the refund will be given. I am preparing documentation to forward to my attorneys office for help. Bad Corporate decisions really hurt the great staff there.
This is an AMAZING facility. Not only is it beautiful, the staff here is very friendly and attentive. I have been here for a couple of events that they were having, and the food and the activities are great. the Executive Director is very involved along with the Activity Director just a sweet lady with a huge heart. The Chef is very creative, and knowledgeable would be an understatement. I would check them out.
