It's a fun, wam & loving Community.
This is an amazing place! The people here genuinely care and have a heart for their work. They have adapted so well to the ever changing Covid challenges over the last year and have shown respect and care for family members as they navigate it. I’m so thankful for Dogwood Forest!
Dogwood is my second home!!! I love this place and I have so much love for my residents and staff. I have a great bond with my families and all the great employees here at Dogwood Forest of Grayson!!!!
My parents moved here in April 2018. From day 1, they have been loved on well by all the staff! When dad passed away in December of 2019, they went above and beyond taking care of him and our whole family! During the pandemic, I have been so thankful mom was here and not alone! They have done everything to keep her safe, but they have also allowed us to continue to love on her in the best and safest way possible for her. I would highly recommend Dogwood Forest to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care for themselves or their loved ones!
Why I love working at Dogwood Forest of Grayson – I greatly appreciate the company I work for and the co workers I work with, as well as feeling appreciated by both staff and management. I feel that there isn't anything that Bill wouldn't do for our staff or our residents. I believe our entire team is dedicated to making our residents lives better, happier and easier. Working with such a great team is just the icing on the cake!
My Mom has been enjoying life at DFG for just over a year now. We are all happy with the care, staff, surroundings and activities. I count my blessings everyday for Dogwood Forrest Grayson!
My parents moved to Dogwood Forest Grayson a year and a half ago. Fantastic experience began with move in and continues with daily care and assistance. Every worker we’ve met has had a very positive , helpful attitude. We can recommend this facility and it’s workers, with complete confidence.
My parents have been at Dogwood since it opened, and our family has been impressed and pleased with the daily care and compassion provided by the staff. Even with the recent stresses, the facility leaders have provided updates and worked tirelessly to take care of residents in a professional manner. We feel fortunate to have selected Dogwood for our parent's transition and would highly recommend.
My parents have been at Dogwood Forest for about 1 year. They love the facility, the services and the caregivers. The folks who work at Dogwood are very caring and very professional.
The staff and the facility are outstanding! We have been treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. Definitely a five star “resort” as we like to refer to this beautiful assisted living facility!
My mother lives in the Inspirations section and we feel that she is getting excellent care there. The area is always so clean and inviting and we often take her into the larger courtyard of the main building. We have been more than pleased with her care and feel that the employees are always so kind with her. My step-father lives in the main building and we feel the same about his care. The apartment is just the right size, is always clean and neat and his care is exactly what we would wish for. We are so at peace knowing that they are so well cared for. We highly recommend Dogwood Forest in Grayson.
We have been so happy at Dogwood. Everyone always has a smile & willing to help. Bill the manager & his staff are unbelievable. They are always working so hard to make everyone happy and comfortable. My 92 year Mother is always saying how blessed she is to be there.
While getting ready to move Mom in, we had some unfortunate delays. Mother was hospitalized and then taken to rehab for a possible two weeks or more. The staff at Dogwood Forrest was so understanding and helpful. Everyone has been friendly. The place is beautiful and we can't wait to get our mother settled in her new apartment!
Dogwood Forest Grayson is a beautiful place. The residents are a wonderful, social group of people who quickly become great friends. The chef is outstanding; meals are wonderful and an assortment of fresh fruit and delicious freshly baked goods are available 24/7. While we experienced some challenges during recent transitions of our father's medications, the Executive Director, Bill, responded quickly and resolved the problem with kindness and respect. I have complete confidence in Bill's leadership as I have witnessed his exceptional method of leadership by example. He will step into any role and serve residents with a truly happy and caring heart. Dogwood Forest is an excellent option for your elderly loved ones who are blessed to enjoy living in this wonderful home.
There are not enough words to relay how awesome this place is and how happy my mom is here! From day one, even with a few unforeseen setbacks Allison & Joy went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure mom felt both welcomed, cared for and "heard". I cant even imagine her anywhere else. I have taken part in meals, celebrations and get together's in the community and it is a place where God's love is evident and the genuine care for the residents is not just spoken about but authentically lived out. The staff seem genuinely happy to be at work and have servants hearts! Way to go Dogwood Forest! Top Notch!
The staff at Dogwood Forest of Grayson has been amazing to me and my Mom.. Latoya and the her staff has made the move in a very positive experience. I love the beauty of the building and the beautiful souls of the staff. Thank you for helping make the hardest decisions ever the "right" one..
