Overview of Professional Staff and Training
Our care staff includes an LPN overseeing Certified Nursing Aids and Certified Medication Aids. New staff undergo training on resident care, community orientation, and medication cart management. Licenses are recertified every 2 years, and medication carts are audited professionally. We do not employ proxy caregivers or Resident Assistants (RAs) who are not licensed caregivers.
Resident Safety and Well-being Measures
We ensure resident safety through exterior cameras, locking outside doors at night (with resident access), bi-hourly safety checks, an emergency pendant system, and 24/7 onsite staff.
Support Services for New Residents
New residents are paired with mentors with similar interests to aid in their transition. We offer mental health therapy (insurance-billed) and other community resources.
Transportation Services
Our bus service operates twice a week within a 10-mile radius, with additional costs for further distances. We also provide transportation to doctor’s appointments.
Dining Experience
We offer server-based dining with daily menus and an always available menu. Care staff do not serve as servers in our community.
Addressing Resident Complaints
Residents can address concerns through a monthly council, directly to our Executive Director, or anonymously via a feedback box.
Cost of Living
Cost varies by apartment style and care needs. We encourage personal consultations to discuss specific requirements.
Communication with Residents' Families
We maintain constant communication with families, including immediate updates on condition changes and routine care plan meetings.
Short-term or Respite Stays
Short-term stays range from $200-$250 per day.
Pet-Friendly Community
We welcome pets, provided residents can care for them independently.
Waitlist Information
While some apartments are currently available, we may develop a waitlist in the coming months.
Vaccination Availability
Residents can receive Covid and flu vaccinations annually within the community or be transported for vaccination as needed.
Aging in Place
Our community supports aging in place with Supportive Living and Memory Care options, partnering with local health professionals and adhering to state regulations.
